Lol i have first time seen engine on motorcycle. Maybe city engine is very light. Else they were mostly loaded on suzuki pickup.

Honda l12 is very light, i used to pick them up and move them around easily.

Yes, heavier cast, but this is not super light like you are imagining.

Assume that its heavier than a full 45 kg capacity haleem daig.

@Xulfiqar yes sir the shop had its own guy who will deliver it to where the car is and pick the older engine block.

Yes it very light compared to what I am used to see and move Mitsubishi 4g15 and 4g13s but still atleast 50kg.

I was very pleased to see that these imported units are far better than what we have from the factory in Pakistan. No criticizing but just a fact.

The ahmcl engines quality is exactly the same as global one.

But there are a couple of things less in the local one like the EGR on the top. The one that came with the car doesn't have it

We should be glad that our engines don't have it. It needs routine service. And it is just a emissions control

Its free octane if you want to see it that way. It prevents hot spot detonation in the combustion chamber.

Local city doesnt have it, disable it and block off the port too.

What was the price? Did you sell your old block and purchased this, or entire engine for engine?

I paid 25000 and the old block will be given to the dealer.

next time do not forget the visit to PAAPAM motor show., you will be excited to see the products made locally. It is just that the vendors are not allowed for retail sale in local market(s). You will know the exact difference of SCRAPyard items and Brand New Factory packed stuff.

Since the old engine was being taken out a d disassembled today, a look a the clutch plate made us consider a change of it too.

Personal Exp. After filling up with coolant keep an eye on water pump leakage. Happend 3 or 4 times with these swapped engines. As soon as coolant was used the water pump leaked n 1 or 2 days.
