Honda City Dasboard Faded

The dashboard of my city 2015 model has faded, especially from the edges. Suggestions or guidance would be highly appreciable

Same happened with us, still trying to find a cheap solution. You can always get it painted but that'll cost you at least 3k. So far I have found that either one should wrap it, or more cheaply buy car dashboard mat

Have you tried a trim/plastic restorer?? I've used a tyre shiner on exterior trim with great results but never on a dashboard.. But they do make some very good trim restorers..

Recently in a relatives 2019 model we faced same issue. Honda painted it in warranty.

Actually I am here in Isb/rwp area.... discussed the issue with honda center rwp..... they are charging around 40 k.... they will take of the dashboard and paint it ONCE AGAIN....

The other option is carbographics guys... they are charging 12k ... but they will not take off the dashboard...

Have kept the car with extreme care. Has always used meguair products..... but this part "dashboard"has really disappointed me.... I guess I have stick to the dashboard matt....

Try trim restorer first. Any good one like klink, formula 1 , meguiars, mothers

Faded plastic will almost always be restored with a bit of heat, Id start with a powerful hair dryer and move on to more aggressive stuff like heat gun but would be very careful with the later.

You can try from any local vendor/painter in i-10/3

If paint is the only solution find the guy who repair airbags of jdm cars they are pretty expert in their work its a maximum 1k job in my opinion but proper paint matching is the key you may try one in national market can't remember his name met him around 2 years back.

Were you able to find out the solution of this issue?? Im also having the same issue and finding someone in Lahore who can do it. My car it Aspire 2019 and driven only 7000km. Since it has ran out of warranty so finding the solution other then visiting 3S dealership.

2019 car ran out of warranty? It's still 2021.

Perhaps he is unable to claim warranty due to some after market installations and then the warranty concept is void.

same happened to my 16 model city. . .although only one spot due to hitting shoes sole by my toddler. . .i went to honda and get painted but after few months the fadeness prevail. . .i am using dashboard carpet now. . .its gud for cleanliness as well as save dashboard from severe sunlyt

Sorry to hear that. If the cases of faded dashboards are high in numbers, can we take a legal action or start a campaign..
Its a personal choice to use a dashboard cover but i personally dont like it.

Actually Honda City dashboard paint is very low in quality and comes off very quickly even the car being not in direct sunshine. My 2018 City's dashboard paint has started to peel off on right edge. There is no solution to it except to go for a repaint when not acceptable.
