Can any1 know how much a "Torque Sensor for EPS" costs... mine is not working.. eps light is continously on... scanner says replace the sensor.. reseting will not help this time.

bro, I suggest u check at the Honda dealerships... only they'll have the sensors that are satisfactory.

If u wanna know the price just call any official honda dealership and as them for it... simple...

well apart from the eps light glowing what other symptoms where you experiencing. As for the torque sensor I will try to know its price

Looking alla... and yes, the wax is working... btw, just to mention here what usman bhai @ vague_0one told me.... if any of u get the undercarrige of ur car sprayed with oil/diesel OR if ur car was parked at a service station besides a car which was getting sprayed with oil/diesel, then there is quite a good chance that ur cars's paint has a very fine layer of oil on it which will repel water just as in above pics. so, better KNOW if it really is wax or if its just oil acting as water repelant.

In your case, @Bigmama, sure its wax, u waxed it a few days ago i guess... so urs is fine

Hey guys want one suggestion i want to change engine oil of my car mileage is 124000 i was happy with zic a+ syenthetic in my previous cars .. tell me best available daily runing is 50 kms in city only.

eemmm... mileage is not low but isnt high either... i'd say zic a+ is too thin for it now... get zic A if u want to stick to zic, or havoline formula, the best oil i ve used so far...

and every time I wax it, the first thing I do is to check "THE FEEL" on the surface... (H)

If it is by any way oily,I scrub it off and then apply the wax.

BTW at the time of rain, the car had like 3x the dust in the following picture and after a continuous shower of 3 hours, the dust was almost washed off...

if it were oil, it could've caused a havoc...

and yar, :(, today the car started giving "shhhhhhh" sound from the engine continuously... gonna take it to take mechanic... if may be i really need to replace the timing chain by now... :'(

m driving a truck...lol idsi 2006 bedford.. streeing is very hard... specially in traffic jams driving becomes horrible.. m only xperiencing a very hard steering.. as far as i know through internet if any thing becomes faulty the ecu of eps will shutoff the entire steering system..
todaty i ll go to another technician for a scanning as i wanna confirm the right culprit.

i got a 05 model manual city.i need to change its mobiloil, and de previous dumb owner is confused he used havoline or zic. tell me what to do. which oil exactly? or can i somehow flush de oil nd try using honda from now on.

I'v joined Honda CITY comminity after purchasing my first ever CITY. Its 2006 model vario (without CNG).
I m planning to get it checked thoroughly (electrical, engine, suspension etc.) to identify the potential problem areas in advance. kindly recommend some good and reliable workshop / mechanic + electritian / dealership in Islamabad for the job. I'd b greatful if u share tips and suggestions to maintain this vehicle. I'v gone through the maintenance shedule already available in the group, its really informative and helpful.

aaahhhh.... the FEEEEELL... i had it today

and yaarr.. the sound "shhhhh" must be coming from generator belt. put some grease on the generator belt (on its lower side) it should go away IF its coming from the belt. but this is just a temporary fix, u need to get the belt adjusted. hardly a 5min job.

Those cows just made my day. How many more cows do you have post there pics as well. As for the sounds well I would like to advise that whenever you hear an anomulous sound from your car do post the clip here so that everybody can hear it and make assessment if they have same problem or not. As for the timing chain I have surveyed the market its available at 1200-1500 but the real problem is the changing process that is difficult

u dont have to flush it at all... just use a good quality oil... i'd say havoline formula... if ur car is less then 150k kms driven. and if it is, then havoline CXT...

Today i was in the market and somebody told me the torque sensor should be of 4000rs but he did not know the actual price because its not available in the market only available with honda dealers. If it really is a faulty sensor and is available at 4000rs. I would advise you to hit shershah junkyard and get estimate for a used kabli one I think it will cost around 7000-8000 the entire eps motor with sensors so it would be wiser to get a second hand motor.

nice... valvoline is rated as the top or second to top engine oil in the world... its not famous here in pakistan though.... do share ur experience with us after using it...
