Hi All Honda City Fans i need ur help and guidance on a issue with my honda city iDSi 2007 manual that my car's cultch is very hard to press and when i drove 25 to 30 kms there is pain start in my ankle becaz of clutch hardness and cultch is noisey as well. two time i service my cultch from the mechanic but still there is no improvement can any body have any idea what happen with my car cultch??? ur suggestions are welcome please tell me anyone whats the prmblm with that.

get both of ur clutch master cylinder kits replaced. They've become jammed on ur car.

Its time to change the Clutch plates! I've installed them on my city 4 months ago when i faced exactly same problem that U've mentioned! At that time I also thought the problem is of some fixing! But then my mechanic suggested me to change the Clutch plates & after installation: Zero Problem. Clutch was soft,silent & quick action. It costed me 10,000+3000(Labor). The Company of which i installed is FCC.

Thank you for the appreciation and no didnt change the rims.Only changed the tyres.

does city have a clutch cable?

lemme have the opportunity to answer your query, first one hai na yeh wale
acha very simple buddy, do the following stuff,
open the bonnet
locate the transmisson
locate the clutch actuation arm, or whatever its called i dont know
now see if it has cable attached to it or a master cylinder sorta thing is next to it
if it has cable then its cable clutch if it is a master cylinder sorta thing then ur clutch is hydraulic
simple as that, doing so you will learn about your new machine too
and if you dont wanna know, scroll thru the owner manual and you will know

have a nice and problem free stay at city fan club,

city's new tyres arrived yesterday, michelin xm2, i personally checked the cabin filter tray and it was empty, will get that from montogomery rd, and the engine's plastic shield is also missing, will get that from city sales

MashaAllah nice colour too, but yar isnt glare a problem in navigation??? My screen is quite dim in bright light....back seat wale have no problem though!!,

Yeah it is.The angle at which the navagation system is installed makes it prone to glare.Try increasing the brightness from settings.It helped in the visibility.

And isnt reading music from Micro SD card a bit too complicated?:S

Yeah they both are important and pretty cheap too.The engine shield protects the underbay of the engine from rocks and stone and preventing it from getting damaged.
The air filter prevents dust and other particles from entering the Ac vents and withour the filter the Ac can choke on the dust and other particles reducing the efficency of the Ac.
These are two items will cost you Max 2000(approximate).Another incident in which honda Atlas saves money.

There is small confusion I also have. In the engine compartment there are two fluid bottles place together. One is a bigger and other is just a small one. Now what i read on both the bottle caps that it is of brake fluid which says use only dot 3 or dot 4... but why would there be two brake fluids bottle in it? why not use single or whether these two bottles are different actually? Because what I am wondering kay when u say the clutch is hydraulic tu kahein aisa tu nahi hai kay one is for clutch and other is for brake and I am mixing both, but then why on the caps only brake fluid is written on both of them...

cabin filter tray.....its the tray which is supposed to hold the air filter for the blower and AC etc...i.e....its job is to filter the dust particles from entering into the cabin which can result in many bad things as bad odour and also damaging the interior in the long run. now every car is supposed to have it but our Honda guys have just installed the tray and not the filter in it...so what happens is we end up purchasing it from Honda or from market....they dont even provide it in zero meter cars i mean..its just like u purchase a window AC from market and it doesnt have a filter behind the front grill

engine plastic shield.....it is a plastic shield under the engine which is supposed to protect the engine, specially the oil sump (as it is the lower most part in the engine) from minor hits from stones and bricks etc or if we accidentally run the car over something sharp etc. now the thing is that new city is coming with the engine shield in three pieces, but due to some miracle of God and a pathetic logic from Honda, the Automatic city is coming with all three pieces, whereas all Manual tranny city are coming with 2 pieces (the ones on the sides only...the center piece is missing)...cost of installation of new sheet is 700 for the sheet plus 500 for four bolts plus 500 labour i once went to get it done but when i heard that they are selling 4 bolts for 500, i came back and the logic behind securing auto engine more than manual is JUST NOT understandable to me

nopes....AC filter they are selling for 1000 and the engine sheet with labour is for 1700
