In addition to that in the interior you can notice in the pre-facelift City the AC/Heater controls are straight off from a Civic, the seats are interchangeable so are the door panels as well as the gauge cluster is also straight off from a 4th gen, In the engine bay you can also see the battery location is also the same, Apart from the front fascia, rear end and the dashboard it's all the same. If I get nit picky then the washer fluid bottle location is also pretty weird and different in the City.

Rohaan please update us with some videos and pictures.

Exactly, was feeling too lazy to type in all the things I had in mind but you did that part, haha
Heck even Wikipedia says it's based on the EF Platform

Will take a handful of pictures tomorrow although the car is in pretty bad shape right now and needs a good denting/painting job, but yeah motor and exhaust are done so I'll focus on them, I already have the videos, will compress them and upload them.

^ Will be looking forward to the start up videos. That spoiler looks good and looks like it's a low lying one like that on the 5th gen Civics, should add alot to the rear end.

It was the first time we cranked it today, the car was without a downpipe so the sound was unbearable, couldn't really test it properly, going for exhaust work in a while and then to the workshop to solve all the problems and issues if there are any. Need to sort out some ECU work. The wiring was mostly uncut, had to butcher a just couple of wires though, that's necessary so not a big deal. I think mine has a single black wire if I'm not wrong :S
Connectors are easily available here waisay.

Just noticed this post. You got lucky with the wiring, I on the other hand had to settle for a compromise and don't worry about the O2 too much, D series O2s are interchangeable to some extent should you face any issues.

Yeah the ECU is gonna be probably the biggest task, If this was an OBD 1 motor you could probably get it going with finding something chipped problem is it's nearly impossible with an OBD II.

Similarly the rear suspension hub swan neck extends all the way up - above the wheel - its done to keep the camber in check when the car literally makes a sharp turn and starts to lean over massively. It also could not be incorporated into the civic because the seating area would have become narrow along with the wheel well would be too tall.The original maniac B Series was the B20A and B18A that Honda planted in this accord. - anyway sorry rohaan - off topic, you can remove this post if you want.

I personally don't like the 5th and 6th gen Civics much, there's only a number of 5th gens over here that are eyecandy and just a few 6th gen facelifts that are decent.
Thanks to every other maila who bought the 5th and 6th gen and riced it up, the impression I always got was 'the most riced up generation of Civics ever made'.

4th gen is elegant, enough said.
