nice fogs u got there... one question, how do u get parts from honda access? online payment n shipment to pakistan or do u get someone in thailand to ship em to u?

A fellow member who is an employee in Honda sourced some Honda Access stuff, it's hard to find since they don't make these for the City anymore.

I got the rest of the Honda Access and Stanley parts via a friend who was visiting Thailand and Malaysia earlier this year.

Very opportunistic of you! Being a bit off-topic here, but ive seen youve gotten other parts for the es5 civic too, were those bought online? If yes then what was the delivery procedure? How does the import duty etc etc work out, or is it just direct onlline payment and doorstep delivery no matter what the site? Does it also depend on what region the site in question belongs too?

It's not so simple here, one always has to pay custom duty which can range from 1000-10,000 depending on the goods and the custom official's financial condition at home if you know what I mean

However, if you can get someone to carry the stuff as baggage, then you wont have to pay the custom fee most probably.

A day after the swap, the engine bay is a mess right now, still have to work on the detailing and some wire tucking, will clean up the tappet cover, waiting for the denting/painting to finish. Also need to get a new Intake and K&N filter as the current one is right in front of the radiator and probably sucking in warm air, a new battery too.

neat job, hows the performance now?

I'm running it on a CVT transmission ECU, the P2J-J62 so the engine is not performing at it's peak, although the performance is brilliant MashAllah, did a 0-100km/h test today and it did it in 8.5 seconds. Just got my P2J-003 Manual Transmission ECU today so I'll get that wired up and post some videos after that, should perform even better then.

The condition before bodywork. Car will be resting on coilovers by tomorrow InshAllah, I'm glad I got rid of the CNG kit and will be getting a new bumper so won't need to look at that pathetic 'CNG KIT ZONE' decal ever again.

the delivery address is your home address, but you will get a notice from the shipment carrier, Pakistan post, DHL, Fedex etc. about your shipment being held in Customs for payment of duties - you then proceed to the respective customs office and offer duty and some chai paani..btw Pakistan post customs (kameenay) have a Haltech E6K ECU of mine - and somehow they also lost it later on. That's why I prefer asking my friends to buy whatever I want and bring it along whenever they're returning, worth the wait, hand carry is the safest method, no customs screw up.

Looking good bro , just an advice (i hope u'd already know what i mean)
Dont go for any engine upgrades till the first engine oil change i.e at least 2500 km's - the first oil that u charged it up with doesnt need to be anything top of the line but yes once u'll be changing it , go for a Liqui Moly engine flusher continued by synthetic shell / mobil1 etc etc what ever u reckon
The thing is that u never know how long the engines havent been in use and especially the one that u bought seems to be in PAK for quite a time as the dirtiness is due to the humid weather followed by PAKI dirt
Observe the engine response for a couple of k's and then go for basic upgrades etc - just for a better life span
Only an intake would be of no benefit cuz rest everything is pretty much stock
If the Wiring has been done , the ecu that u just bought would be plug and play
Rest i hope for the best cuz its gonna be ur daily runner
Get ur injectors cleaned ( NOT the local method) get them ultrasonically cleaned cuz thats the right way to do , double check all ur throttle sensors and their exact current supply
U'll automatically know when ur setup is running flawless i.e a water throwing setup
BTW havent used the city's gear , is it the wide ratio one ?

Hey thanks for the advice.
We've already changed the engine oil twice and flushed it after running it over the past 3 days. First one was Caltex and the second was ZIC OW. MashAllah the engine is all set and it's already throwing water. True we never know how much the engine has been used but we were lucky to have found such a clean engine, hasn't been used in Pakistan ever and even the oil filter it came with was spotless. When we flushed the oil after running it, surprisingly it was Golden rather than brown or near black which is the usual case with kabli engines. Yeah the tappet cover had some dust on it and I haven't yet cleaned it as the car was visiting workshops often and cleaning it at the moment would have been pointless.

Won't be doing any engine mods, no stupid plugs/wiring or the other ricer bolt ons people are fond of over here, I planned to use the stock intake resonator but the engine only came with half the pipe, thus I need an aftermarket intake.

The ratios aren't much wide, the second gear tops at exactly 100 and the 3rd at around 135.

Installed the Tanabe Sustec Pro today, car rides so much better now, has a better stance and tons of grip compared to the sluggish stock suspension. I really recommend the Tanabe Sustec Pro to anyone whose switching to coilovers.

Adjusted them so there's hardly a 2 finger gap up front while there's a nice 3 finger gap at the back.

The reference pictures you posted on your thread are total rice, please don't ruin your car and let it stay decent. I'll be glad to help unless it's about a mesh grill, cheap projectors, fiber bodykits, gauges etc.
