Honda City Tyre for Rough Roads

I need your valuable suggestions regarding tyres of Honda City 1.3L Manual. Currently I am using stock tyres Eurostar 175/65 R 15. But I am really fed up of My cars uncomfortable drive, Every weekend I have to travel on rough road. Keeping it in view please suggest
1. Best Tyres for Bumpy Roads
2. Tyre size, I am planning to buy 185/65 R15, It will help to make drive comfortable?
3. I heard Soft tyres give better drive on rough roas but at the same time, It my get punctured due to slight careless drive, Please suggest

Top of the line is Continental CC6. Then Yokohama advan DB v552. Tyre size 185/65 R15 is best for honda city.
While buying tyres, dealers will try their best to sell you smuggled tyres, DO NOT BUY THEM. Smuggled tyres are very very unsafe.
Always ask for Imported tyres.

I would suggest to go for either Michelin Energy Saver Series or Bridgestone Ecopia series. In any of these, size may be 185/65/R15, but do keep in mind that speedometer reading can be a bit erroneous on this size, as this is not the exact size for your ride.

Advan dB has extremely soft side wall, accordingly it is highly prone to punctures. Continental are fine.

Get Yokohama Bluearth ES 32 from tyre point, available in 185 and 195. I have had amazing experience with them on rough roads, so far driven 6000 kms and no punctures.

Both the Conti CC6 and Michelin are hard tyres not recommended for city.

Speedometer reading differ when you replace rim size or diameter of tyre like 15 to 16 or 14 to 15

True. I have used both and i must say continentals are better. They are not extra soft like advan, thus prevents punctures and tyres gets worn out less earlier than advan.

Absolutely yes.
I have driven my car for 22k on stock Eurostar tyres and they were really shitty compare to continentals.

You can have more comfort with advan db but they'll get punctured more easily than continental and they'll also get worn out quicker than the continental. Plus they'll provide less grip in rain or on slippery roads.
Down side of continental is that they are expensive than advan.
I purchased continental cc6 at a rate of 14000/tyre freshly imported with a date ot 16/19 from tyre point thokar niaz baig.
Whereas i was getting advan db v552 for 12000/tyre december 2018 import.

Yes. 185 is the best size for honda city. I also have 185/65.
It will increase road grip, ground clearance and will improve performance. Car will not shake when a heavy vehicle will pass by (or it will shake very minimal compare to 175)

Yes (based on my experience with Bridgestone), but if you are gonna drive your ride at very high speeds on bumpy roads, then this rule won't apply.

Stock size is the best for any ride, because your vehicle has been designed, calibrated and tested on it.

If not, then gradually on the higher side.

Yes. You are right. But irrespective rim size or tyre size, if you choose any tire such that overall outside diameter of tyre matches that of stock tires', then there won't be any speedometer error (i.e. you play between tire diameter, aspect ratio and width).
