Honda Civic 10th gen after 4 years. Worth buying a used one or not?

I agree KIA is a very good option. If Honda increases prices which it will most probably do like Toyota then people must prefer Sportage which has lots of more options and 4 years or 100,000 km warranty.

Its a widely accepted fact that corolla has always been more reliable no doubt about it. Civics r always sensitive and needs more care and maintenance compared to corolla, get a civic if u can afford more trips to garage for maintenance as well as budget ... civics r known for the shape and features.

Every car has issues..but civic just took lead with ridiculous issues in last few years. Overall civic till 9th was pretty reliable..we have a lot of civics in family eitht barely any issues. Yes its sensitive car if driven carelessly on bad roads, doesn't mean it's not reliable..Atlas messed up everything with current gen, but now they are actually fixing issues

9th Gen is no doubt reliable and work horse I am having it since 2015 and its really tough. Just faced 2 issues. That 3rd class Tracking world 2nd gen android navigation which is slow and hangs sometimes and second issue stability at high speed. The stability issue can be resolved by increasing tyre size to 16 or 17 and getting more wider tyres of 205 or 215. If u want to use stock size then just reduce the tyre pressure to 27 or 28 it gives driver more control and car feels planted on road. I have travelled number of times to Skardu and Khunjrab pass and no issues.

that tracking world navigation system is pathetic and same like its staff services. It was getting on and off on its own last year. When i contacted their services manager in Islamabad he said its motherboard needs to be replaced its inherited fault in these systems. Even after replacement it hangs sometimes. Their staff has no knowledge of its hanging and blank out. I have decided if it gives more trouble i will get it replaced with after market one. I can't understand why Honda is using their systems in new civic too. Although company is different in turbo trims but i have found all the guys here on PW having 1.8 or turbo always complaining. Just look at the international model having complete info of vehicle integrated with navigation having multiple view back camera and climate controls in navigation.

Mind sharing that more advanced? Engineering in honda? Advancement doesn't make something prone to failure, quality does. What's advanced in ac? Tranny and engine?

And that engineering causes ac failure, body rust, suspension issue?? Keep making new users and keep talking on same things..these are family cars, so its not even close close to your example of audi. No one drives these cars on 200. Toyota has its repute in reliability and that needs just no proof whatsoever.

thread is for civic issues.. Corolla is just advanced enough to be compared. At least less advanced has no rust, no tranny issues

Leakage can even happen in a plane...its not a manufacturing fault sir..have some better understanding of manufacturing faults
