Depends on how much do u want to spend. A good pair of front speakers cost around 2500 (used) and back ones around 3500 (new) a decent sound which can be easily run on amp later. Disco music in blue area had JVC Coaxials used for front doors and was asking 2500 for them and the sound was pretty decent

as per youtube and rest of the internet, it states that changing the input shaft bearing is not worth it rather change the whole gearbox, have you changed the input shaft bearing yourself or seen someone getting changed in their car?

Many videos on youtube show people changing it. But since labour is so expensive most people in west just buy used transmission for $100 and change that.

There is a service recall on this part and even Honda dealerships recommend changing just the Input Shaft Bearing.

BTW, Bearing is only Rs2000 from Honda.....used transmission is Rs25,000....I checked locally in Islamabad n pindi.

but thing is that when you open transmission, u change all bearings clutch plates flywheel facing etc in same labour so total bill will be much higher

25000 is bit on high side. I replaced a vti oriel 2005 tranny with kabli one gave old tranny and old clutch pressure plates and 18k cash. Put new clutch and pressure plates with new throw out bearing and clutch was fine till 50k kms after it car was sold

sr tusi v kamaal krde o. No matter how delicately kept or so.fact is these cars r more than decade old now and every part installed in car have a certain life till will it can be stressed till its maximum capacity. You shouldnt be driving with family in this scrothing summer with ac at 140.

Yes it's very comfortable. Civic is my daily driver to University and i feel very comfortable driving daily. Since its an old car so it requires extra maintenance rest its good

A manual is much better when it comes to fuel consumption compared to automatics in 7th gen civics. Try to find a car being sold by first owner or look for a seller who has kept the car for around 3-5 years.

You should NOT expect city consumption to be better than 12km/L. For an automatic it will be even less. If you see a car that has a sub 100k mileage and has changed multiple hands be sure that the meter has been tempered with!

If kept clean these cars are amazing to drive, very responsive and reliable. I have had an Exi manual for more than a decade and I overhauled a City yesterday while on way to work

I have got two 7th gen at home al hamd o lillah.

First one is Exi manual bought in 2010 with original 118000 kms petrol driven from first owner, maintained it thoroughly from Honda 3S and it has done 254000 kms still on Honda recommended 10W-30 oil, giving around 11-12 km/l in city with AC.

Got second one about two weeks ago its a 2005 VTi Orial Prosmatec black in colour and 138000 kms driven, its doing 9-9.5 km/l in city and 12 km/l on motorway @120 km/h and its also Honda maintained.

I am enjoying EPS in my 2005 Civic there is hell of difference between EPS and hydraulic Power Steering.
