Sir, i am also using 5w30 in another car. I guess 5w30 is for new engine. But as this car is 130000 driven so 10w40 is preferable.

Understandable.
I'm using 5w30 in both my 2013 Civic with 70k on the odo and my 2007 Civic hybrid with 198k on the odo. I've had no issues with either car though.

It's fine. I've used LM 0w40 in another car and it works very good.

I have recently bought a civic vti oriel prosmatec ug 2014. It has done 1 lakh kms. What engine oil do you guys suggest? I guess genuine honda 5W30 should be the choice. And my car has bit weird behaviour when accelerating it from 30-60km/h on a soft foot car gives vibration, which feels quite similar to bent axles but if I accelerate it fastly then no vibration comes. Seems like prosmatec tranny has some issues.

Use 5W-30 SN. Replace after 5000 kms.

for a recent purchased vehicle with less history available, i suggest for wheel balancing and alignment from Honda.

No kr just like shuddering from front. Seems i should change Honda DW-1 fluid in transmission.

I had a krr krr sound and it was some sheet underneath that was rubbing.

Brother it only comes when I accelerate car slowly in D from 30-60km/h but when i drive in 1 or 2 it doesn’t do that.

It’s the auto tensioner issue. You must be hearing a grrrr sound as well. This is a common problem in 9th gen. The tensioner needs to be replaced and it costs around 35k. It’s better you drive it as it is. No need to worry.

It’s basically a pulley that adjusts the belt. When you accelerate it tightens the belt.

It only comes when driving in D and with soft foot, if i rev it hard in D then it doesnt come or if i drive in 1 or 2 it doesn’t comes. This thing is quite similar to bent axles which causes car to shudder and vibrate at certain speeds.

Today my mechanic quoted me 250000 for converting manual into auto tranmission and told it will take 4 to 5 days to get the work done in which he told everything will be replaced by qabali

is it good decision to get the car convert into auto in this price ?

yes it will only come at low speeds and only when you press the pedal gently. Nothing to do with gear oil.
