Someone once said he had same problem in his prosmatec 9th gen and chaging transmission fluid completely twice solved his problem, as old fluid gets dirty and reduces flow of fluid and causes shudder and jerk.

transmission il wont do anything. Its the tensioner. I have faced this and had to change the tensioner.

sir its an issue with this generation of civic
it has something to do with the lower torque mount and the inner CV joints
this shudder at a speed between 30-40 most prominent is there is almost every civic including mine. Doesn't harm anything, keep driving it

A bit less than 4 litres, I think 3.7 litres for prosmatec transmission.

few weeks back Masha Allah i bought 2013 civic oriel manual transmission, car is 90K original driven with complete service record from Honda classic.
Drive this car is a real treat, Masha Allah,
up till now its cat converter cleaned once at 80K.
genuine Honda engine oil changed regularly at 5k interval with oil and air filter.
transmission oil was also changed at 80k
plugs and engine coolant were not changed yet.

can you ppl please share your valuable comments to keep my car as good as it is.

Change fuel filter, check & replace & pads & rotors, get wheel balanced & aligned & change coolant & plugs after 100000. Your car will be good for couple of years.
Please tell me was there any transmission oil filter & from where did you cat cleaned & how much it cost?

if you are using genuine filters then there is no need to change oil & air filter at 5000 kms.

What known and practical draw back of not changing the fuel filter? apart from the reasons Honda gives to sell their 11k filter?

My car was company maintained by Honda classic, fuel filter was also changed at 80 k
Dnt know about transmission oil filter. It was not written in my service history documents.but yes Honda classic changed trasmission oil at 80 k.
Brake pads also replaced at 80k service (both front and rear)
Spark plugs and Coolant not changed yet.
No idea about cat cleaning charges. But one thing is for sure all services was done by honda classic isd.

Oil filter if by Honda then after each alternate oil change

Is there any way to soften stiff suspension, for example by changing its springs . I live in a remote area where most of the roads are bumpy and non carpeted. Plz don't give advise to change it or shift to corolla thanks

Use tires with a larger sidewall; say 195/80 instead of 195/65; and inflate with lower pressure - say 26psi instead of 30psi. I put in 26psi sometimes when I know I'm going to an area with bad roads.

Altering the suspension will cost a lot of money and it won't be worthwhile.

axle seal leaking not much a little bit...how much it will cost me to change the seal.anyone.

replace the axle boot asap and regrease the joint or else it ll fail
the boot should be available brand new from the dealer. buzz em up for price
