Yaar I'm using high octane for around 6 months now. Tried akbar Chowk model town mor shell. Liqui moly I'm using. And i have tried everything catalytic converter clean injecter plugs throttle tappets too. Also servicied the vtec valve. But no luck. Also checked the fuel pump pressure as well.

What is the mileage of the car? When were the spark plugs changed? Have you taken it to a Honda dealer to diagnose the problem?

Yes i have teken the car to dealership aswell. Honda city sales and as well peco road honda also they can't understand what's wrong. Yes i have changed the spark plugs recently 4,5k kms back.
Car mileage 80k km.
Everything is check also i have checked the guy refer me honda link i also checked that sensor but no luck.
I'm too much fed up now.
Car pick is extremely good no issue just issue is it knocks on constant rpm when doesn't knock on high reving.

Hmm strange. On an unrelated note, why did you change your spark plugs at 75k km? They're supposed to be changed at 100k km.

I bought the car in January so changes all the fluids and plugs as well.

All mechanics are confused. When i bought the car. I washed it and its engine as well. So it get hydrolock because i wasn't aware of the sound bottle will suck water. I changed the engine engine is in pristine condition extremely neat clean tappets compression test is perfect. Also timing checked but I don't what I'm missing ️

Bhai phir karwa ghoont or jaib bhar k PMS Garage chakkar lga len ek. I have no personal experience with them though but they claim themselves to be very professional in resolving these kind of issues. But he is a bit expensive. Or if anyone in this group have any experience with them, please share....

I have a 100k clocked 9th gen, maintained perfectly from Honda Gateway/ Honda Pit stop Shaukat Khanum, used Honda oil and every maintenance. took care of car more than i care of myself however i hear the same knock:

= in between 30~45Km/hr
= in between 1200~200 Rpm

after that it appears sometimes on motorway when i accelerate from 100 to 120.

I use mixed high octane throughout, air filter replacement 6~8k max. No one also can find the cause here. Catalytic converter was also cleaned by person in front of Packages Lahore, it was not that choked. it was not there before 80k, is there any chance of carbon deposits in combustion chamber? the only thing remain possible or someone mentioned above the EPV? who can adjust it or need to replace

If timing of car is advanced, then you also hear this sound on high rpm. May be slight adjustment would resolve this issue.

No sir this happens mostly on lower rpm tried each and everything but no luck ️

Did you changed your fuel filter or fuel pump checked?

Timing of these car cannot be adjusted manually . They have cam sensor to adjust their timing on lower and higher rpm

Nops, but i cant relate fuel pump to knocking, can you? one of my friend has same Civic on 200k and fuel filter not changed but his car has no knocking like mines!!

Anyone using 17" with low profiles? What are the pro's and con's. I am sure you have to compromise over comfort and fuel consumption but 17" makes Rebirth so cool, specially if it is on Vossen wheels.

Just look for wheel upsize calculator on google.Go for the right tire size and it should work out wonders.Yes u will have to compromise a bit in tire noise,acceleration,Comfort and fuel consumption but on the plus side, More contact area will give you better braking and stiffer sidewall would result in better handling.
