Honda Civic Ek D15B dual vtec 1996 manual Vti exhaust smoke

Salam fellow PakWheelers.
I have an EK civic 1996 manual vti and need help from the experts here with a problem that I'm currently facing.

Smoke coming out of the exhaust. I have been presented 2 scenarios.
1. Use 20W 50 oil (suggested by the guy i bought the engine from Mithu khan ka hata)
2. Weak piston rings (suggested by my mechanic) which i pretty much think is the culprit.
Note: I got the smoke issues after I switched from my P6F-P01 ecu to P2J-J63 before that my engine was running smooth after I did the swap. Changed ECU because of mileage and the fact that I wanted my car to run on d15b on all 3 stages as it should like lean burn, 1st vtec and 2nd vtec.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Currently I have 3 ECUs with me which are.
P6F-P01
P2J-003
P2J-J63 (currently installed)

I have all the pictures and I will be posting them below for further clarification and help.

blue smoke is caused by burning of oil. have you checked the plugs? that there's any traces of oil burning.

It's a JDM D15B Dual Vtec Engine. The 3 stage vtec one. I know from the intake manifold and the 3 wire iacv i guess if im not wrong.

No I haven't but the car is also reducing engine oil now. Last time my mechanic checked the car it was almost a month ago.

easy, 2 vtec solenoid means dual vtec.
P2J-J63 is for cvt
your car is manual right? you should use P2J-003 which is for manual.

Yes it is a dual vtec engine. I tried to use the P2J-003 ECU but for some reason I couldn't get it to work. I'm guessing to make P2J-003 work you need 2 wire iacv thing? or change the throttle body? Because my engine came with the CVT tranny. and D15B auto comes with 3 wire iacv ? So im guessing my guy couldn't do that 3 wire to 2 wire iacv thing where you need to pull out the orange wire from both ends?

yes. auto has 3 wire iacv.
conversion is not difficult.
3 wire has positive 12v wire, ground wire and ecu controlled wire.
2 wire has ground and ecu control wire.
which means you don't need positive 12v wire, so easy to convert.
and the second picture is of VSV which you uploaded.

Is it there on cold start? Or also when engine is warmed? Also is your radiator fan is auto and thermostat installed? Simply means does your car reaches operating temperature (needle in the middle of the heat guage)???

I tried making my guy understand about 3 wire 2 wire conversion but no luck. So I ended up using the ecu he had which was P2J-J63. That's why I still have both of my other ecus laying around.
Yes the VSV ur talking about was suggested to me by my mechanic in order to get the EGR hooked up.

tell him what i told you. he will understand.
in 2 wire iacv one wire is important which goes to the ecu. other wire you can even ground to the engine. you can diy it.

It's there on high revs. When I'm keeping the rpms around 4-5k range after a while the engine starts to throw the smoke. So yes its there when the engine is warmed up but not sure about the cold start. And yes the fan is on auto and thermostat is also there. I hate what the desi mechanics can do to ur car if u dont have little or basic knowledge such as removing the thermostat and keeping fan on direct.

seems it's time to rebuild as engine is consuming oil as well. putting rings and new valve seals will work but for a short period of time.
between have you checked the PCV valve?

Once that's done can I run my P2J-003 ecu with the Auto TB 3 wire iacv that I have installed currently in my car?
Because as you can see in the picture after the swap for a while I had the other Intake manifold (2 wire iacv) as well but now it's not with me anymore since I had to return it to the guy I bought the engine from. And as per my guy he said this auto throttle body is better than the other one.
