Due to MMT the spark plugs which theoretically should last till 80k to 100k kms used to fail prematurely at around 16 to 25k kms due to mmt.....

It can be experienced by pulling the car till top end speed on safe road like Motorway / ring road. You will find car will not go past 170 / 180 kms .... you will feel it stalls at 180....

@asadnaeem1 i had done borescopy and compression test at that time, different people suggesting diff hit and trial methods but some tuner friends advised me that the car is new so just change the spark plugs which ultimately found to be the culprit.

These precious metal spark plugs shows up at high rpm , high load conditions,

I have June 2017 Turbo, its 1st set last 18000 kms whereas the 2nd set lasts around 30k (ran around 5k on Euro 5). Recently on the 3rd set since 2000kms

I have found the plugs less orangish and more greyish black after Euro 5 fuel so i hope they will give a good life.

Except this spark plugs premature failure issue the car never gave me any problem engine wise till 50k kms now. I know there will be deposits on the Turbine blade, O2 sensor, Cat Converter and seen the deposits on the cylinder head fire deck area and piston top via borescope but i never felt that i need Cat Con to be cleaned I sincerely advise all Turbo C owners to use full HOBC or mix till the total elimination of MMT from refineries. Prefer Euro 5 compliant fuel as it may have less concentrations of mmt.

I am using same plugs from factory

Driven 33k

Easily touch 200 even last week coming back from lahore

Alhamdolilah

I would change plugs on 40k .

Have been using regular or mix combination

Do check on D WOT run and you should touch 207 easily in short time and come back easily..... if it struggles to touch 200 than needs replacement.

If they performs well than you are lucky..... my colleague friend replaced spark plugs at 42k kms after driving my car and feeling the difference..... now both are same performance wise.

Plug looks okay i.e. dark greyish black....

Showing slightly rich mixture but no mmt.

My plugs wore out prematurely at around 17000km back in 2018 (2016 model). Got them replaced in warranty and since then I've driven the car 99% of the times on regular fuel. So far so good. Touched 200kph on several occasions with ease.

Update: My car A/C stopped working few days ago. Took it to the dealership today. Thank god it was still in 2 year warranty period (driven 28,000 kms). A/C evaporator found badly leak. Honda fixed this issue after 2018. My model is 2019 and I am not sure why there is a repeat failure. Dealership is replacing complete A/C under warranty including condenser, compressor and evaporator. They are saying that in case of turbo they always replace complete set. Not sure why. Parts are on order lets see.
