Civic costs more because it has more hp, more top speed, more cargo space, more sportiness, more aerodynamics and it has better quality. Civic is a car for 4 people and it is a sort of sports car but corolla is a family car and out of civic’s league

First of all your facts are wrong. Civic 1.8 is not 150 bhp, it is 140 bhp. And no stock 1.8L Civic can hit 240 km/h, that just isn't possible from a 1.8L 4 cylinder tiny engine.

Secondly, about the design. Yes Civic is lower and more aerodynamic than a Corolla but that still doesn't make it a sports car. It is a family sedan and the 1.8L R18 is no trailblazer. It's in Pakistan only that people believe the Civic to be a very a fast sports car, delusional people.

Even in foreign countries Civic is more preferred and i did not mean to say that Civic is a sports car.... i just said that it is resembles a sports car...Corolla's shape is more family-friendly and able to fit more people inside. And by checking the specifications, Civic has 143 hp and yes it can hit 240 km/h. If Reborn could hit 230 km/h so why not the new Civic.

And if you check out the new Mercedes C180, you'll see that it has a 1.6 liter engine (without turbos) that can hit 235 km/h...so...think about it....if 1.6 can do 235 km/h so why not Civic?

Grande is a lot faster than civic 1.8 9th gen and 10 gen both. Civic turbo was faster than grande but due to knocking issue it failed and the sole reason for it to be released was performance. And please dont compare german cars to local cars.

Ok first of all the M270 engine on the W205 (C class) Mercedes is a 1.6L turbocharged engine. It is not a naturaly aspirated engine. So once again your facts are wrong.

And a stock Civic does not do 240 kmph. Please, it is an outdated 1.8L engine and produces very average torque figures.

Also, please check the sales figures. Corolla out sells Civic worldwide. Instead of continuing to argue please accept the facts and move on.
