Honda civic X steering clucking problem

hey guys , i recently bought a used 2018 model , 10 thousand driven honda x .
The car is not on honda warranty anymore.
Although I got it checked by PakWheels experts and they said its perfectly fine .
I drove it for some 1500 kms and now i feel like its steering rack has a noise every time i turn it on either side . i am really worried now .
any advice civic lovers on how I should go about it ?

This is the company fault with the steering rack of Honda X, you can check this forum full of other Honda X owners complaining about this issue and as you said that your car is not in warranty anymore, so I'm afraid that you have to get it repaired/replaced by some expert mechanic by yourself.

However, I would suggest you first get it checked by some expert mechanic before getting it replaced/repaired, but I think that unfortunately, you have to pay the price for this problem.

Go to Honda 3S . They will inspect it and then will launch a claim for Quality. For this they need to see service history.

Despite it over the warranty, Honda is accepting the claim. Your case would be easily accepted.

bht mushkl ha bhai. he should do his homework beforehand, talk to a lawyer, get a notice ready to file and take it with him. threaten honda guys with that. this issue and this type of resolution is quite common these days. consumer court ki dhmki dyay bgher honda wale ye part warranty ma bhi replace ni krk dete.

Not difficult at all. I have done it despite car out of warranty by 1.5 years. This was done without any legal or other manner.

His car is 2018 and would be easily accommodated.

For Steering Rack problem you are still under warranty.For this particular part its 3yrs.Please first go to 3S dealership the car has been going to and insist.They will have to replace it.Otherwise write directly to Atlas Honda.I just hope the car has had its first three services at a Honda dealership.I think you are in Karachi so take it to Honda Drive-In,Honda South or Honda Defence and be polite but assertive.Let us know if this helps.

If this problem can be solved under warranty, then it's great.
But I'm sharing the experience what happened with my friend. He has also got Honda X VTi Oriel 2018 model purchased brand new from Honda Avenue in Islamabad and unfortunately got the steering rack problem and as the car was used as a 2nd or 3rd car so, it's mileage was even less than OP's car in 2 years and this problem appeared in the start of 2020 when the warranty was over and when he took his car to Honda Avenue and tried every possible way to convince them to replace the steering rack in warranty being the quality issue, but all in vain and finally, he has to get it replaced by himself.
Maybe the story is different now, but there is no harm in trying. I hope that this problem @muhammad.ulusyar is facing will be solved under warranty. Best of luck.

Yes. Now they are accepting it as Quality defect . Although mileage and service history is important aspect. After acceptance, it is usually pursuance with Atlas which takes time.

Wasalam , bro i sold my car before the issue got worse . I got it checked by honda dealership and they said the issue is not that bad yet and it also cant be changed as it out of warranty .. so I thought to sell it .

you can get it repaired by any local mechnaic , its not that expensive and a easy fix, shouldnt cost you more than 20 k with labor .

Honda accepting it as Quality defect. Take it to 3S, launch Quality complain , after sometime, it will be changed
