I don't think that the JAZZ is a very desirable car in india as it hasn't done well even the recent price reductions. On the other hand swift is like a national car for india which seems to grow on people day by day.

P.S. Check out the production figures for year 2012 of Swift and JAzz, i hope you will get a clear picture.

The Honda Jazz is the most desirable hatchback in India and there?s no disputing that. We?ve liked its space, its versatility, its interiors, its engine - heck everything about the car - except its pricing. Two years ago on our mega hatchback comparo in Ladakh the Jazz stood head and shoulders above its brethren yet it couldn?t win the test because of its silly pricing.
Finally the pricing issue has been addressed with this refreshed Jazz. What?s new? There are new bumpers, new grille, new headlamps and new colors, all of which amounts to not very much. The main thing is the pricing which has come down a whopping Rs 1.6 lakh with the base variant now at Rs 5.50 lakh going up to Rs 6.06 lakh. And with that came a flood of e-mails and calls: is the new Jazz the best hatch in the country?
No better way to answer the question than to pit it against the winner of last month?s mega hatchback test to the North East - the new Swift. The Swift has been the best car in its segment since it was launched all those years ago and now the all-new Swift (looks like a mild refresh but it really is all-new) raises the bar yet again. The moot question is has the bar been raised over the Jazz?

After launch what will matter the most is the price tag as we also have some very popular hatchbacks here so price tag should be attractive and surely in Pakistan quality products with reasonable price are very appreciated by Pakistani,s and if its Honda than........

If they are really planning to launch it here in pakistan then i must say its a very good step as we dont have any options in local brandnew cars ... affordable Brandnew Honda will be much much better than all JDM passo / Vitz , BB etc etc
But as compared to Swift , The shape isnt impressive but thts it , in all other aspects it will be much much better than suzuki swift

But again it will be really hard for them to compete so many Jdm Cars , we have so many options in 10-13 lacs these days , Belta , Tiida , Wingroad , Imported JDM city (previous shape) etc etc and all of these are bigger cars and much better than Jazz plus 80% of the population prefer bigger car with trunk as compared to smaller ones so i think its still a big question mark !

I think new investment plans will either be decided in dec or after the elections, the latter is more likely to happen, so don't expect any new models to enter by march-april.
