I don't think that the JAZZ is a very desirable car in india as it hasn't done well even the recent price reductions. On the other hand swift is like a national car for india which seems to grow on people day by day.

P.S. Check out the production figures for year 2012 of Swift and JAzz, i hope you will get a clear picture.

There is no competition between the two in india, Swift is 2nd best selling car in india whereas Jazz position is around 45th in india(swift sale average 15000/month whereas Jazz sales around 500/month)

This survey was conducted back in May 2012 by atlas honda pakistan in a meeting held at pc bhurbun

This is i think a new model of Jazz as compared to one posted above and it looks great and I remeber this model of Jazz have won alot of awards around the world and have got very well repute and if Honda will launch this model I think it will get good market as well. It have got plenty of space and the new scenario in which we will be having no CNG we need new models with fuel efficient engines.

based on my personal observation in india swift really popular than jazz though i personally feel jazz would be better in quality wise than swift and i also belive its price will be same as swift in Pakistan

yes Honda will launch jazz in Pakistan, but not in 2013, its in 2014.

Yes its true that the Swift is the high seller in India but the Jazz is a very good car as well.
Secondly, the Swift we are getting here is an older/retired generation. All other countries have moved onto the newer swift model.

If Jazz arrives here, it will be the only local competition for swift, so let's hope it does arrive.
I can assure you if the competition here increases (especially in the small car segment) you will see Paksuzukis monopoly end and faster model replacements/upgrades with better options for consumers.

Don't know but i personally Jazz will be a lil expensive than swift as of two reasons. Furthermore, expect to see price hike in city due to their brand/value perception.

1. Having a honda badge
2. The same engine as in Honda city.

This will directly get inline in competetion to the swift , price wise , it would only get competetive if they plan to assemble here ...

If they are planning the same old lame gimmick , to import fully assembled cars and " launch" them here ,
then they are for SURE not selling this. " Sabun dani"

If they do , the price would get around 1.2 million .

The new Honda Jazz is a premium hatchback car and is equipped with a 1.2L, 1198cc, 4-cylinder. The launch of Honda Jazz is the entry of Honda in small car market. The earliest it may be launched here in MT, AT/CVT, and Hybrid versions is touted to be in either early summer (March-April) or late summer (July-Nov) 2014. The sooner it does, the better it can capture the market!
