3.2L of rage with a nice 290hp, wow.

3.0L of twin turbo rage which can go upto 600hp on stock internals with more boost, thats rage.

Performance to whom knows it best ... uhh right right, I hope someone tells Honda that when it comes to high horses you need forced induction to hit some serious horses.

Also for performance, go have a look at Japanese Grand Touring Championship (JGTC). Honda just has the NSX while Toyota has the SC430 (Lexus), MR2 and Supra.

As for Honda SH-AWD technology ... its good on paper, I will come to believe it being all super when it gets into rallys or shows some ownage off road.

Btw for all your info, variable valve timing isnt a Honda concept ... according to wikipedia.

Come on Ahsan, don't go all personal about the discussion. And there's a difference between VVT and VTEC. VTEC; Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control. But Toyota got its version AFTER Honda, right?

Oh and by the way there exists a turbocharged version of the C32B that produces over 500hp. Should we add another turbo too?

And if you don't believe in SH-AWD, it's not Honda's headache to make you believe. Toyo fans will never accept other manufacturer's plus points

All the engines that you mention are made by Yamaha, that is who makes most of toyotas engine. Yes Yamaha the motorbike maker so becareful what you say about motor bike makers they are better engine makers then any.

Even the V8 in the Lexus guess who has hand in making it, you got it Yamaha

As for Honda is the one who has been into racing before even it was called F1, before even toyota knew how make cars for international market Honda was in the USA and leading them all. if you look at Honda is only 50 odd years old, compared to Toyota which as company is more then century old making sewing machines, for ladies. No wonder they got their lady like driving feel in their cars, lol! Anyways Toyota has been into making cars longer then Honda and should have been far ahead of Honda. But It is Honda who is leading the way in new markets and Toyota is following. Honda created Acura and then Toyota made Lexus, Honda still leads in technology and market developement and Toyota follows.

At the end of the day...Its toyota who's bringing them for the Consumers and its toyota who is more succesful!...

If Honda is so great at inventing...Why cant they create Offroaders to attack the rocks and dunes like LCs and FJ Cruisers do??

Why cant they create larger vehicles to beat Toyota Coaster and HiAce in their respective segments?...

Honda is good at one thing, and one thing only!...Producing NA power from tiny engines!

The reason Honda does not have 4x4s is coz they were concentrating on races and which Toyota was not. Again it is not if you compare line up then then Toyota doe snot have Bikes, Boats, Planes, Jet engines and I can go on what Honda makes and Toyota Does not. So its not the matter what they produce but what they produce best, and Honda is the best engine maker and known in the world as an engine maker, its not me who says this the facts do.

As for Honda not being able to take boost, that is not true as any other NA engine Honda takes its share and just like any other NA engine things need to be changed for boosting. Mind you Honda started using Turbos before Toyota did. Honda is for Performance what Toyota is not.

And Yes it does matter who makes the engines, coz ppl think Toyota does, and that is not true. Honda makes their own engine does Toyota? No!

i don't think there's any BEST of both of them. Each is good in it's own place. AT the end of the day it's everyone's personal preference on what side the company focuses on more. Can't just say blah company is best in a few posts ! Honda no doubt is ahead in technology but toyota has now surpassed everyone to be the top most car seller in the world. I personally prefer toyota for the reliability it has. I love hondas too but prefer toyotas. (Actually i want a bmw m6 )
