You need to find better workshops or atleast get everything done in one go.

Such work usually starts with a thorough inspection (which usually is done by car owner if owner has an old and rare car)

List all that is not complete/original and find parts, lubes, chemicals, cleaners etc etc before having the jobs started, otherwise you will be permanently visiting mechanics forever every day of your ownership.

A good car should be more on road and less in repair, not the other way round.

Exactly, tintin bhai see what xulfi bhai is saying. going workshop every day is no good. if you have enough time for such things with your other routine responsibilities. then its fine.

that is the difference in metallurgy and hardness. desi brake disks have less hardness so wear out faster

No sir, this is how you maintain your old vehicles.
Someone else would spend once and spend properly, no kabli parts, no that will do, none of that. I am using 2 old vehicles, properly fixed up once, spent upwards of 5 lacs on each, but they are now alhamdolilah reliable cars.
We all enjoy your fiascos but don't misguide just because you don't want to or can't afford to shell out cash In a go to fix the car up.
Before you start about parts, both of my vehicles are such whose parts are harder to find then a crown

Yes, because seasoned members only post about their issues when there isn't a solution readily available. You post because you want to be appreciated on low cost repairs... Which frankly doesn't happen. Take a simple example of these shocks, everyone advised you against them, what did you do? You bought them, then when they failed just like everyone said, what did you do after that? You got another pair... This pretty much sums up the entire 2800 posts of this thread along with the 8500 odd posts of the LC thread

Oh. Thise are both much much harder to keep than lc80 or crown. However i dont mind tintin sharing his adventures here. I have learned a lot from them. And he also enjoys the company and attention so its all in good fun.

the amount you spent on only the engine of your LC, is worth more then my old civic.

I don't mind him sharing as well. What I mind is his misguiding of people. Just because he wants to be penny wise pound foolish, doesn't mean everyone else will too.
