lol not really, it served its life and was an end of life facelift.
kuchh bhi
Today I myself saw an Elantra in canal road faisalabad and I have to say it’s quite beautiful in looks but still nothing that big that should be 40+ by any means I saw one with black rims and I did noticed led headlights but can’t spot a sunroof plus the badges had stickers over the so can’t tell for sure which variant it was but it had very nice road presence looked better then corolla Unfortunately I was not able to take some pics but still thought I might give my feedback here
Thats probably the top of the line variant will black Alloywheels.
Yeah that’s what I thought
Thats must be chinese rims which they are testing.
Called Hyundai South (khi) on saturday to know about tucson delivery time for a friend, the sales guy told that they Elantra is going to launch on 23rd March, and told if you book it in the initial days you might get it in around 40 days. Not sure if this is the case.
Isnt that the only hyundai showroom in Karachi?
There is also Hyundai city store in Karachi
if 3.6 mil is the starting price...nobody would leave a corolla altis 1.6 in the same price to buy a korean brand hyundai....
Japs and Koreans can not be compared....
they need to keep price at max 3.1/3.2 million of base variant
what is the launch date ....variants and prices and features?
Launch is around 15th March. Two variants are coming, 2.0 and 1.6 base variant and price would be around 33-39.
Some random thoughts:
Knowing Mansha and Nishat strategy, pretty sure the top variant would be around 40 lacs.
They are operating at Apple/Tesla level. The strategy is to forget about the product value, just keep the prices higher than competitors that will mean it's a 'premium' sought after product. Premium is not based on product quality or features or functionalities, just keep the prices high and khallaas.
Also keep the production and deliveries at minimum level. That will again signal to market that the 'premium' Hyundai cars are so much in demand, they are available after 9 months wait (just like a newborn baby) and if you want one immediately, you have to pay high On money. Does not matter if the demand is actually low compared to competitors, just keep the supply even lower and economics 101 will ensure that the price remains high.
Doesn't matter if the same car is internationally being sold at similar price level to KIA and below Toyota/Honda. Pakistan's market is different and people here are happy to pay higher money for 'premium' stuff. For definition of premium, please read 2nd and 3rd points above again.
You can't fight the big 3. Rather than posing a challenge to established players, just join them and become big 4. Unlike KIA or Chinese players, forget about sales volumes, the goal is that the market perceives the Hyundai brand just like they perceive Toyota and Honda. Then you can also skim the market through gradual but consistent deterioration in product quality over the years.
i suggest you get a job in any one of the big 3 assemblers....
Base variant with Auto transmission?
Yes all trims have automatic transmission
Some dealers have already started taking bookings unofficially like Toyota did with altis X before proper launch My source has told base variant is 34 acs and top of the line 41lacs
what the heck brother, 4.1M for hyundai. thats so absurd. top of the line elantra must no go beyond 3.6-3.65M.
its a new entrant.
this implies that we should continue buying civics and corollas.
why so....lol..i already got a well paid job... Alhmadollilah....any news about launch and price?
Well 36.5 lacs for a 2.0L sedan is too good to be true I think 39-40 would have been good 41 is a bit higher at that price ZS civic and corolla are better IMO
Very well summed up the business philosophy of Nishat group!
