Somehow after few years, corolla remains up and running as good as day1. Baqi sab workshop kay tour per hoti hain. Hondas have awesome engines but still baqi tour hi tour. Looks are subjective. Same corolla interior was praised by many but finishing is still best in pkdm sedans alongside the materials used.

Toyota to me is not known for most beautiful cars but certainly the best cars. Least number of issues in any generation even on a pkdm is plausible

Looks subjective hote mgr the current fakelift looks horrible (specially from rear), interior is plain and lags in terms of aesthetics compared to civic. elantra exterior is good but interior is okay .
But 12th Gen corolla is a beauty and shape on par with 11th gen civic both interior and exterior

True i hate the back side of altisX. I m happy with pre X looks. Civic ki soorat to hai seerat nhn. Elantra mujhey higher price per samajh nhn ati. Option left is to wait for 12th gen

Cuts and lines don't make a car better in looks. In my opinion it looks hideous from front. Majority of US reviewers also commented somewhat similar.

i have inspected elantra in detail. in my opinion it does have the best interior of any car currently on sale in Pakistan,

rear leg room is less than corolla but similar to civic. car looks nicer from sides. front is ok. back is better.

Big plus is a very reliable, tested and toquey 154 HP engine. Engine is clearly best in class.

Warranty is good too.

However issue is that it is not even competing with current sales of civic let alone corolla.mainly coz of not aligned price point.

if some one has to go for korean than why not spend 400k more and get sportage (much more established car in market).

Now question is will it be able to compete with civic and corolla once their next gens come on market. competition is cut throat.

Hyundai needs to be more adaptable to break the monoply of Corolla and civic. They need to realize that Hyundai was never a luxury brand nor it can ever become one with current offerings.

They have been fooled further coz of dealers upfront bookings anticipating own money, however un fortunately i have not seen cars in use of actual users on the roads.

Nishat has totally killed the hyundai potential in pakistan , they could have easily captured the market with a price tag of 35 36 lacs. We would have been seeing elantras everywhere , elantra now is a sad story in pakistan.

They shouldve launched Verna which is a huge hit in India rivaling City Yaris and Ciaz there.
2000 CC Elantra is an expensive unwanted Sedan atleast at this time in the market. But the ones who run Hyundai in Pakistan are ruining its potential by their dumb "premium brand" mindset
They could've easily taken the lead in C segment with Verna by now with a price tag between 25 to 30 lac.

Unfortunately they are playing the long game, For those who cannot wait they have a car that is in 4 million range. they will be able to keep th 4million price tag even when the new corolla or civic comes but both these cars will be priced 4.5 range. that is when they will milk this vehicle.

People are getting restless to buy city old gen for 3.2 and you want elantra for 3.5/3.6

Its pakistan bro, where changan and hyundai think of themselves as premium brands.The focus should be on selling a lot of cars but instead they are hell bent on making large profit on overpriced cars.

the genuine parts would be comparative to that of rolla and civic, because of kia success a lot of other part suppliers/importers are coming up so chancces are you will be able to find parts easily and maybe at a lower price too.

but it wont be able to hold a candle to their aesthetics then, so its as bad a gamble as their current over pricing.

They have a few shiny gimmicks u their sleeves, they will give fakelifts. plus by that time hte economy of scale will increase and their per unit margin will be greater than it is today.

Very cunning and shrewd business man. He will milk the situation to his favor.

The have 1.6 and 1.6 turbo that they can bring in to upset the game.
