I have searched for the similar questions have found some answers but still need help with a couple of things.

I have a 125cc bike which I use for myself. For family, I use inDrive/Careem as I don't see bike as a safe mode of transportation here.

I have learned driving a couple of months ago, and have driven my friend's KIA Picanto 2-3 times (total 5-10 km). Now I want to get a car for my family so I can drop my children to school, go for shopping and restaurants.

I think I will only drive for around 300-500 km/month.

I have been looking into new and used car on PakWheels and prices are very high. I don't want to get a used car that cause a lot of trouble and maintenance, nor I want to spend a huge amount of money on a new car, such as Suzuki Swift (50K?).

So, I am confused, what automatic car should I buy? I really like Kia Picanto but have read that the average and leg rooms are not good. I can get a new Alto Automatic for 3 million, but there are better used car around the same price or around 3.5 million. Friends have suggested Vitz and Swift.

Another question that I wantt o ask is should I look into PakWheels Managed cars? How expensive are they as compared to market? I don't mind spending 1-2 lacs more if I can get peace of mind. The reason is I bought a used bike and even though the mechanic checked it was a ghissa hua bike and I am not getting a good price of it.

Please help me giving your perspective.

I think you have answered your question yourself. Buy a new Alto AGS! Maintain it by Suzuki. It shall hold value nicely.

If you are looking for comfort and looks get a civic 9th gen

If you are looking for ease of driving, better average then alto vxr ags or vxl ags is a good option

Picanto fuel average is not as expected and secondly it has got some heat up issues.

Vitz is a good vehicle but that's old also and lower ground clearance of it will not be something good

Btw I am also selling alto vxr ags 2023 new

New Alto vxr ags or vxl ags. Just change the tyres to better ones than the stock tyres and you will really like your decision later. Avoiding a used car is better.

Pakwheels have some good 2018-2019 ones listed at 3.6-3.7 mil I believe u can negotiate / find a better deal.

Also my suggestion buying a vehicle with minor touch ups is fine, as even on a new car u can't avoid scratches with traffic situation nowadays. But the vehicle shouldn't be accidental and must be perfect mechanically.

I have searched but did not find any post for my city. I have the same thoughts as you on touch ups. Minor scratches and dents are inevitable. I will keep an eye on posts or go with Alto as other suggested.

Firstly congratulations.

If you want to buy a car that is reliable, cheap to maintain, fuel efficient and modern looking. I’ll suggest you to go for a TOYOTA PRIUS (2nd generation). In your budget you will fine a perfect condition one. I have owned that car for almost 12 years now. Bought it at 24000 kms and now it has done 202900 kms and Alhumdulliah it is going flawlessly. Only isse I had was once my car hybrid cooling fan broke. I replaced it and costed me with labour 2500rs. Alhumdulliah routine maintenance and care of that car and it proves that it is a Toyota. It gives me somewhere 19-23 kmpl in city and while on highway it easily crosses 27 kmpl. Which is shocking. That car is too modern looking that when you sit you won’t feel old. Trust me that car is best investment. Don’t listen to those who says hybrid batteries are costly. You can find a 3-year warranty battery for 90000rs and that’s if the battery need replacing. Mine is Alhumdulliah working perfectly. Also that car is a butter to drive I have visited Khunjerab pass in it. It’s a beautiful machine and always puppets me whenever I wanna go anywhere.
