Immobilizer Key Lost........What to do now?

OH......now i understand :$. But i dont think i can access that code. What i understand from you is that the 3s will access that code and tell to suzuki factory to make keys !!!

Actually the process is siimple for reprograming a key like inserting a new key turning to on position and turning back then waiting for as much seconds as code says then twisting to start position and wait and so on but with out code you'r helpless.

In some cars manufacturer gives 3 keys one master key black works on all locks and ignition, a grey key will only work on doors and ignition, if you hand over your key at a parking lot no one could access glove box and trunk, then a red key for reprograming.red key niether starts car nor can be used on other locks but paksuzuki does not give the red key nor they make.

My nissan had this arrangement of keys........but with baleno, only two programmed keys.....

I bought my car from Audi dealership. They gave me a complimentary key chain & 5 Full premium fuel tanks.. To make me happy as they were not reducing the price of the car..

If I lose a key here.. it will cost me about $350 ( key fob and programing). I have to go to dealer with my license and car registration as proof of ownership to get a new one. :$

i found a local shop , i got the key programmed from them $60 lol.. dealer was asking $220..
(nissan maxima by the way)

but the catch is u have to have atleast one key, so they can get data out of it... if not u have to go to the dealer

So, I talked to the Services Department at Pak Suzuki Motors, Karachi.
They have instructed me to go to my dealer (Central Motors, Rawalpindi) and give an application for the key replacement along with copy of FIR, CNIC and Car registration book. Case will be processed at Karachi Head office and Keys will be issued with out the key blade serrations and programming. My dealer will then get the Key blade serrations/teeth made by looking at the door lock. Computer programming of the keys will be done by a person from Pak Suzuki Regional Office (RWP). Moreover, he will also delete the 2 x lost keys programming from the Immobilizer rendering them useless.
It sounds to be a long process and seems that I will be the driver for that much amount of time :o

PLease explain in derail about this Latif key maker. How will he make the key while the car is standing at my home plus what about the immobilizer?

It is not a big thing. Reprogramming just takes 5 minutes. I got mine for Civic, they took around 30 minutes to cut a new key and another 5 - 10 min max to reprogram it.

My experience with Audi's

for 99 and before is you can get a key shell and get it laser cut and programmed from local key makers

I believe in your case you need a

1. SUZUKI Transponder Key with left blade， the transponder chip is 4C or 4D65
2. goto to someone who has a chip/key programmer
3. get the key cut

Its a 5 minute procedure at hand - but the paperwork takes time. btw - the part where you say the dealer will cut the key by inspecting the lock is very shady - tell them to precut the key from the serration template they have already in the build sheet.

-I had the issue that my car lost codes, God knows how but i still had the keys,

-Suzuki dealer ship charged me rs.2500 for programing at that time to the key alone costed rs.9000 and rs.7000

-A guy on Pakwheels bought a baleno which only had one key, he got another key+programing done for 2500 from Tariq road, the thread should be avalible on Pakwheels,

-Any lock smith can make you the key (a steel key that should open doors, boot and move the ignition to unlock the steering) Just by looking at the car doors lock.

BTW< Suzuki Baleno/Liana/Swift come with 3 keys from factory, In Balenos case only one remote and 3 Chip keys, In Liana and Swift, 2 remote keys one standard key with Chip.

In case your cars on leasing, the bank should have the third key get your hands on that key.
