Sir: Why calling honda dumb as these cars are not primarily not to be run on CNG. Furthermore, if ur installing CNG kit than you are voiding ur warranty as well.

i dint know that we have such genius car manufacturers...by the way it seems a myth of your mechanic and nothing more, this would be a big stupidity by Honda if it is for real, i believe it can't happen...just imagine the following
Petrol gauge going up while reversing the car:P
Petrol gauge going down while you are running on CNG:D
Petrol consumption is same in city and on motorway
Petrol Consumption is same while AC is on or off
Petrol consumption is same if you r touching 100 km/hr in 3rd gear or 5th gear
Petrol consumption remains the same either you are driving up hill, down hill or straight road.:-#:-#:-#

Well after going thru this thread i also got CNG installed in my City10 (landi renzo+PRV advancer+ 60kg cylinder) and am over whelmingly satisfied with performance of car and felt no big difference in drive really rather i feel its very very smooth on CNG. Thanks to Vik-vik for his timely opinions but i got it installed from islamabad @ Rs 44000 (with 55 kg cylinder it was 41,000) as they said that they are charging me more for PRV advancer+emulator.... anyways end of the day i do recommend it for everyone...its really worth it as am getting around 190km in local thats to not with stock tyres but Michelin 195/60/15 which are broader in size.. so go for it guys.

yea am facing that as well... but i guess one can live with that once economy is good. but i ll request Vik-Vik to explain the following :

"Since petrol pricess will defenitely rise in Jan so go to petrol station and get a full fuel tank., now when you start your City, it will show you a full gauge. now keep on driving on CNG, you will see that fuel gauge is dropping depending on your mileage. but you will realize that if it goes down to E and you park your car in garage as you normally do, and next day when you start it, the gauge will go back to its actual position depending on the amount of petrol you had in your fuel tank"
my questions are:
1. in order to bring fuel needle up...do we need to switch off car at petrol??
2. or we need to start car at petrol??

kindly explain for our knowledge plz.

thats really a bug for me in order to enjoy ur ride on CNG, when CNG technician overcome this issue i ll get it install.

Hey Guys,

I installed CNG kit over the weekend and so far so good. I am enjoying the ride and you guys will be surprised that it wont do any knocking on CNG which it normally does on Petrol. So far my car is in testing phase meaning that I am calculating the mileage and stuff. But again the pick and response time is pretty good.

For all those who says you will ruin your engine life or City 2010 dont deserve CNG and bla bla bla. My answer will be "I just can not afford current petrol prices these days, as I have to run 100km/day."

Dude, you are not suppose to do that reason being, you got an EFI CNG kit so it starts on petrol whenever you start it and will be converted to CNG automatically.

The fuel needle is very proud actually, it goes up whenever its in a good mode.

My basic point was that, whenever you top up your fuel tank to full and then start driving on CNG, the needle will go down as you are running that car on petrol but after like 1 week time or so, it will go to its actual position when you switch your CITY on. So now its up to the needle when it goes up to the actual position...

Th logical reason behind this needle issue is that CITY 2010 ODO meter is incorporated with Electronic mileage calculator which can only be used on Petrol but not CNG. So that is the main reason of Fuel gauge issue on CNG.

Dude, so far the RPM is so stable just like the car is on petrol. No sound or anything. I got the CNG when mileage was 8000km and now its 30000km with no issues Alhamdullilah.

Still you can provide the fix if any available for other members if they are facing the RPM issue on there CITY 2010

Inform about cylinder weight and this weight effect on vehicle shocks/suspension.
secondly inform about how much gas (in kg's) come in 55 kg cylinder and 60 kg cylinder (full with 200 PSI pressure, no over pressure). which cylinder is better Faber or any one weight-wise and how much is weight difference?

i recently installed CNG in ma city 2010 which is 7000km driven.
landi renzo kit and EKC 55kg cylinder with emoluter and advancer, it cost me for 35000.
car pick is really impressive on CNG. i drove 1000km after installation and these 1000km were 100% of satisfaction. it gives me 125+ km in city now a days with maximum 7kg of gas which is equal to 385PKR. after discount 350.

there is weight difference in faber and other cylenders. other's weight are 55kg and faber's weight is 46kg. its less in weight but equal in capacity of 55kg.
simple cylinder cost u 18000 i.e EKC
faber cylinder cost u 27000.
