Where I live(Mananwala Near Faisalabad city) there is a small road which leads to Jhumra. I cannot upgrade my 1mbps connection to 4mpbs since the underground wiring is a complete mess and they just cba to dig up and upgrade. So they gave me a new wire with 1 joint covered with OSAKA black tape, and that wire is urrm approx. 110meter long. have atleast 3-4 problems with it each month, since the wire reaches over houses, 60 meter is straight hanging and god knows what it goes through when it is windy.
on the positive side, they don't stop my connection even after not paying a bill for 5 months.
It got stopped recently, i would say last month, but the blame is on me. PTCL should atleast hire professionals to do the work, and not leave wires hanging over peoples homes/open land. Too lazy to dig underground i assume 
And whenever I call the numbers of the service guys i always get a response "coming in 1 hour etc" and i call them back after the promised time, then they add one more hour on. I just gave up and i am a happy customer of PTCL EVO Nitro.
