2 TON gree inverter. when I attach the pressure hose and turn the ac on. after the reading on gauge stabilizes it comes to 100 PSI when the A.C. is taking full amps. Once temperature is reached and amps start to reduce, the pressure reading on gauge is 130 and goes upto 140 as amps reduce.

However my other 1.5ton gree inverter shows a running gauge pressure of 120PSI whether it is at full amps or lesser amps. (this a.c.s compressor was replaced and before, it too would show 100PSI at full amps and then pressure would go up when amps would come down.

So basically, my LG inverter always shows 120-130 psi pressure and im quite amazed that GREE 2 ton goes to 100psi when a.c. is switched on and it is running on full amps. When i try to fill gas at 100psi to bring it up to 120 it takes the gas but will not increase the reading until amps go down.

Any advice on whats going on?

No issue there, they have multiple LG dual inverters, all are perfect. There could some issue in your unit.

Infact we had family get together there and even at huge load of people and room doors being not properly closed, it even cooled the room fairly well (but definitely at higher consumption which i did not check).

Can everyone please post their curent ampere draw of inverter ac's? and what temperature it is set at?

I am looking for ampere draw in afternoon time in lahore when temp is 39-42C outside.

Please mention your ampere and temp set on ac in the afternoon. Also place of outdoor. thanks guys.

T1 Acs in 40C+ does not stabilise below 6A.

T3 at same temperature stabilises at around 4A after an hour or two.

At 26C, shaded outdoor unit.

Tested multiple brands.

For daytime use, T3 rated (52-55C) AC are far more efficient by 2A-4A power consumption.

I have seen working of sharp J series inverter. Somewhere i use to go where i had to stay for more than an hour and they had sharp in that room and the cooling was really spectacular. The room is however on the ground floor. Room size must be 14 X 14 or 15.

two lg t3 2 TON ACS.

Both outdoors are NOT shaded and infront of maximum sun exposure.

AC takes 9-10 amps on 26C in this lahore weather and does not stabilize even if temp of room is at 25C.

LG stabilizes at 6-7 amps on 28C and 29C set temp.

Have a daikin non inverter unit which was bought last year but its performance is not same.

Direct sunlight is biggest power consumption factor. It increases hot side load significantly and decreases cooling efficiency, to the point where i have seen phone ACs to do thermal shutdowns in fewer cases. Atleast add a green shade to block direct sunlight. You can apply vertically, horizontally or at an angle (preferred).

One of my AC faces direct sunlight, i added green shade at an angle, such that it blocks sunlight and also provides hot air ventilation from outdoor unit.

Installation and proper sizing plays sn important role. Daikin, Panasonic are among very top.

You must vacuum the lines with vacuum pump before releasing gas into lines.

Aim for T3 rated (52-55C) AC models, which are mostly available in cool only.

Most of inverters out there are heat and cool both. And daikin doesn’t specify T3 or T1 on their spec sheet.

It'd be great if someone can just list down all t3 models available locally along with their prices. Shopowners mostly don't know about anything when you ask em.
