Inverter Type AC in Pakistan (Inverter/Non Inverter Dedicated Discussion)

I have checked but it does not confirm being DC inverter. I could not find the technical specifications listed.

Dear brother, it is mentioned in its manual. For both 1 and 1.5 ton. There is no way to upload a photo (I cannot find at least) otherwise I'd upload the attachment.
If there's a way tell me. I'll do that or send me your mail ID. I'll send you the manual.

Can you also share model number of Mitsubishi unit as well. And where to buy it from in Lahore. I mean the dealer or any authentic reputable sale centre.thanks.

Dear I didn't go for Mitsubishi as it was far too expensive and plus there wasn't much difference in consumption. It was merely milliamperes. Nor worth spending 47k extra. And honestly I don't remember the model number.
Gree is sufficient for me. It's the second most economical and 2nd best AC in inverter section. Third slot goes to Kenwood and 4th to ASCON. ASCON AC's are actually most power consumers in Inverter slot.

As far as inverter A/C's are concerned , I think I saw Sharp or Toshiba , I dont remember are best in class!
Price was 110 000 for 1.5 Ton!
Other A/C i think they've also reduced compressor size and just lie about Ton because their cooling is not up to the mark

Dear Ocean, I am using a Solar system with 3000 watts of Panels and 5.0 kVA inverter. 4x Gel batteries of 200AH each. Apart from running two AC's, I am running 2 refrigerators, 1 LED/1 LCD TV, 8 fans, 20-30 LED lights, occasionally Iron, washing machine and oven. Plus Computer, scanner & printer on Solar.
Total cost at time of installation (Last Year) was 5 lakhs. System is a joy day and night and I am Alhamdulillah more than happy.

Imran it is a DC inverter. And compressor slows down accordingly or speeds up in order to achieve temperature. It never switches off. Refrigerant is R410A.

Not Mitsubishi or Gree. They are both excellent. Sharp or Toshiba might've also launched but until last year (when I got Gree installed) they were not "in" in the inverter category. Anyway this year also the inverter section is dominated by Mitsubishi and Gree.

Always look for the BTU's when purchasing a unit. As we know 1 Ton=12,000 BTU . Check BTU's at time of purchase.

I don't think so 3000w can handle all these things at one time! Hope you are not consuming wapda too much

1.5 - 18000BTU but compared to normal A/C of the same company their cooling is less even when compress is at itd full speed

Huzaifa dear, why do you suppose 3000 W (DC) can't handle above equipment when using 5 kVA inverter? Any solid reasons?
FYI I am attaching 3 photos here.
Photo 1 is with normal house load.
Photo 2 is when I am switching on inverter AC
Photo 3 is after AC is just switched ON.
it can very well handle all the load brother. And I always keep a close eye on it.

Imran as far as I know all inverters have dual function. Regarding buying, I guess you have to visit Abid Market. There one biggest electronics store there around the corner. They had it.
