Orient or Hier was the next best recommended ACs. I had (stressing on had) an orient inverter bought 2015, it blew up.
Not sure exactly what happened. But from what I know, the compressor kept on tripping. So the AC person was unable to fill gas, he said the compressor had a fault. He said he had to revive the compressor (his explanation was like when you revive a heart by giving it a shock). So he opened the pipes, ran the ac and was blocking his finger on the big valve, then removing his finger. I think he had a vacuum pump hooked up. He did this for about 10 mins. Then he asked me to close the ac. Before I could do it, the compressor blew up. Thankfully he was ok, just bruised in his arms and hands.
Im no expert but im pretty sure what he was doing wasnt right so probably his fault. However first time I have experienced a compressor going bad. Least to say wont buy orient again :).
