Daikin hands down. It has no competition, even better than General. Daikin can cool a room easily even in scorching 50C. Have daikin units at my place replaced with old General 1.5 and 2 ton units. Daikin is Global #1 Air Conditioner. I don't care about electricity savings but it can cool easily in thar and sibbi heat.

Went to the gree showroom to get another unit as my orient one blew up. The person said that all 1.5t versions are sold out and are expected in May, which I cannot wait till.

She old of the 1.3t model (16000btu), that uses the same outdoor unit as the last years g10 model (the popular gs-18c1th1 variants).

i recently bought a Japanese portable ac (used) for 11k .. my room size is 8*10 and this is a rental apartment thats why i dont want to spend more money.. using this unit for 3 4 days .. excellent cooling ..

Bought it from OLX karachi,, i live in islamabad by the way.. check OLX you.,ll find many adds.. this thing is for small rooms.. my room size is 8*10 and all covered.. no direct sun light... chilling in just few minutes.

Should work ok for this room. I have gotten it installed it in my room, size 15x14 where previously 1 ton (non inverter) was working fine so 16000 Btu unit should work fine. Temperatures are still not that high so that one can say with certainty how efficient is this unit, may we'll have to wait for mid of May.

The ac guy told me that if you live near a nala, you should spray the exposed copper pipes with lacquer as it will get black and erode. Is there any truth to this?

i was looking to buy inverter 1.5
today went to hyper and found haier inverter ac for 60 k
i want to ask is it okay to buyer inverter then normal ac because the sale man told me dont expect normal ac cooling from inverter
so i am confused what to buy
normal split or inverter one ?
