Today i checked its ampere on 20`C settings it was taking in between 2.5 to 2.3 Amps.. which is very good for me atleast because i dont have to cool a large area.. :).

I was getting daikin but they were short but they had acson in stock which i installed, for daikin i would have had to wait 1 week for availability now the weather is all good due to rain

So i am wondering its the same thing... or i should have waited for daikin units?

Pricewise it is cheaper and specs shown are similar to orient and gree etc. 2.5-9.7A for cooling. Any info about the brand.

W salam.. this is 110v unit.. you have to use a 220v to 110v invertor to run this.. and i bought it from karachi

I am going to buy a new 1.5ton inverter within 1st week of may,
I read this forum completely n i guess most ppl recommend Gree.
I have 2 questions, if some1 could plz guide me in these,
1st, cith2 is last year model, n lith11 is latest, according to eco star page, lith pricing is not available yet... So should i wait for this new model or buy cith2??

N 2nd is there a way to check btu in ac other than just the sticker, cz some1 in this forum mentioned that ppl change stickter of 16000btu with 18000 btu

After being satisfied with Orient 1.5 DC inverter Ultron Plus (heat and cool) which I bought last year in May from Metro Islamabad for 60,000 rs, on April 17 I again bought another Orient and it is called Ultron ecomfort 1.5 DC inverter in Golden colour from Bahria Town Orient store for 54,000 rs.

Both running fine Al-Hamdollilla.

The newer is new indoor, outer is the same and newer is wifi enabled, though they have yet to launch the dongle to connect with it. Old one had white packing , newer one has black like HP printers. Remote control is same.

Performance is good ... I use at 26* and its fine .... throw is very good

I have seen Gree too .. they are great
but if u need insane cooling ... this is what you want

AUX is a very cheap brand as compared to Mitsubishi and Acson (62k vs 90k and 125k for 1.5 ton). Are you sure that it is of great performance? Also, it is available by the name of AUX-Daikool. Why is the name Daikool associated with AUX?

My feedback from using gree 1.5ton gs18lith11m..
Pros;
Cooling is great! My room is quite big and a 2ton unit would be recommended but i went for the 1.5ton option.. iv put the temp at 26 and within half n hour i can easily feel the difference..the room remains cold for an hour or two after switching it off.. it does cool quickly but i was using a 2ton window ac, i obviously cant compare the cooling between the two.
Wifi option is of great use.. you can control everything from your mobile. Frm vent positions, fan speed, light, temp to almost every option you have on the unit. You can easily switch on ur ac remotely from anywhere!
The outer unit is huge! Its almost the same size of mistsubishis 2ton outer unit i have.. If there was anything i was sold on..it was the outer unit! If i compare it to a normal 1.5ton gree unit..its almost double the size. Waisay, are bigger outer units for inverter acs beneficial or is it something which ive made up in my head?
You can set the vent movement left/right and up/down from the remote.. i dont know about previous units..but the last gree ac i got, i had to manualy set the vents where i wanted. You have numerous positions to set the vent movements to..
Cons;
The price! I got 3 units for 74k each from afzal electronics abid market.. they ripped me off for sure..gree display centres dont havr this model as these r for dealers only..last night i went to afzal electeonics dha and randomly asked for the price.. by the time i was walking out he quoted 73k for 3 units.. i didnt even bargain slightly! So if anyone is looking to buy one i think you can gey them down to 70 or 71.
The vent noise is slightly irritating.. the vent movement of right/left makes a unique plastic "click" sound which comes after almost every 20 secs or so. It might go away if you lock the movement, havent tried it so cant tell.

I dont know how much amperes its pulling as i dont have any meter attached to it.. which is probably the most imp point evweyone wants to know..if i do get the readings, ill share them asap.
