Just marketing terms, dual/smart(inverter v). I am not entirely sure about major internal differences.

Both come with 10 years compressor warranty. Just make sure you buy all Korea and official warranty model.

Need advice here. Just sold my 1.5 Ton Haier DC Inverter (Heat & Cool). AC was good but it was overkill for my small room which measures 14x11 ft. Have planned to install 1 ton unit or at the very max, Gree 16000 BTU to have more savings in electricity costs in comparison to 18000 Unit which I have just sold. Market is flooded with 1 ton Mitsubishi Mr. Slim inverters being sold at Rs 50k. Has anybody used it? Actually confused between Mitsubishi 1 ton and LG 1 ton. Any help will be highly appreciated.

14x11 doesn't seem so small.
1 ton might struggle.

Since you had inverter, setting thermostat a bit higher would have increased the savings while still keeping the advantage of quickly cooling the room.

Just my 2 cents.
I have seen a friend suffering after getting 1 ton inverter.

I agree with gull, having a 1 ton inverter that takes longer to reach the desired temp and runs at max AMPs would essentially have a negative impact on savings.

You could go for a slightly better brand which would potentially cool the room quicker (1.5 ton) -- I have no clue about Haier, its consumption and efficiency so cant comment how much it would differ from your exiting setup.

go for haier 1.5 ton.i have haier in my room cooling is excellent thanks to Mitsubishi compressor air throw is very powerfull.

i bought ac just a week ago and gas pressure is 150 which is ok but ac is unable to cool the room even after running of 5 to 6 hr room temperature remains 27 to 28

This model is not sutible for our region. Better to buy AC having climate class T3. T3 class ACs are designed to perform upto 52 C.

I don't understand the Orient line up. People are buying e-comfort model but I don't see such AC on their site. They only have Ultron classic, bold, plus and super. Where is this e-comfort.

T1 is good for Islamabad and other northern parts. It's even Ok for Lahore where we go over 43c for only few days a year.

How would you rate LG over Mitsubishi? Is there a considerable difference in power consumption and what about cooling?

It is a new range. They are charging 10,000 more for installation of wifi kit.

Bhaio a few days ago I installed Orient ultron classic 1.5 ton AC, I am confused regarding to swing, there are two buttons on remote, one for vertical swing and one for horizontal swing. But on my AC, only verticle swing is working, while horizontal swing is not working.

please tell me that in your orient AC, horizontal swing moves?

This is not entirely the case (although I might be wrong) - these classes mean something else in literal terms: https://www.quora.com/Air-conditioners-have-climate-class-ratings-like-T1-T3-what-do-they-indicate Having said that I can't find this on my Acson/Mitsubishi A/C

Mitsubishi is on ground while this is on 1st floor, honestly both are really really good. However, I just did not like the design of the Mitsubishi so went with LG this time. Also, I had a bit of a falling off with a Mitsubishi warranty claim (non-inverter) as Orient people deal with their warranty and were poor, really poor in their service.

Never checked that. I set the swing for once and leave it there.Just use on off button or temp to change from 26 to 27, 28, 29 when the cold is unbearable.

Just saw your comment, swing 1 moves vertical and swing 2 moves the internal sideways fins on mine. (Last year's Orient Ultron Plus 1.5)

Went to blue area today. The dealer offered LG V inverter 1 ton 126SQ (cool only) in 53500 and 186SQ 1.5 ton inverter (cool only) in 65k. The in door units are way too small. I actually had to ask him if it was really a 1.5 ton unit. The shapes though are significantly different than what you have posted.

Might pick up in the evening.
