Brother, T1, T2 and T3 are designated for designed operating temperature ranges taking climate into consideration. It has nothing to do with better cooling of one over the other.

T1 is for moderate to hot climate, where as T3 is for Hot climate only. Hence, if ur AC is in good condition and yet unable to achieve the logical desired set point, then it means that the unit installed is small (wrong selection - less BTU or Tons) and a higher cooling capacity unit is required.

Mere bhai gree manual says its rated upto 43 degree which means if ac stops working or compressor trips you cannot hold gree responsible.

T3 compressor works till 65 easily so when t1 trips from Heat or high temps how will it even cool for you to compare between t1 and t3. You will have no ac at 50 degrees and people with t3 will be in a freezer. Okay realistically speaking i hope lahore doesnt go to 50 and your t1 continues to work with all its heart.

Amps go up when t1 is working hard in heat. T3 amps dont get affected (personal experience).

My experience with Gree 1.5 Ton Voila Series
I purchased 1.5 Ton Viola model GS-18VITH1 on 1 May 2018. Today I set it at 26 C and turned it on at 11:00 PM. It started with 0.1-0.2 amperes and went up to 10.5 amperes during first hour and then kept fluctuating between 9.0-10 amperes (1980 W-2200 W). It didn’t come down. At 0700 AM it was hovering above 5 amperes. Total power consumption from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM was 15.8 Kwhr (1975 Watts/hour).
Similarly during daytime with same setting from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, it consumed 4.2 Kwhr (units) which is 9.55 amperes (2100 W) . I am totally disappointed with its performance.

How Much Efficient is viola series? I mean the rating? Kenwood Ac show rating. Their AC are either 65% efficient or 75% efficient.

Get a Samsung if you afford it, my experience with Samsung home appliances is that they give tension free service for a long time if you keep them properly maintained.

99% of AC installed have T1 compressors, how may complaints are there about this tripping of Compressor above 43 centigrade?

I have got 5 Nos. of A/C at my House, Gree 1,5 ton, Gree 2 tons, and 3 no’s. Mitsubishi with no such issues of compressor not operating above 43 centigrade.

Now 660cc JDMs are specifically specifically designed for local commuting 60-80km/h driving. Now you can push it hard and achieve 120-140 km/h on it and do long journeys, possible without any issues in short term.

But at 120-140km/h 660cc engine will have to work really hard (very high rpms due to CVT, same concept as inverter ac rpm), result in bad fuel economy, premature wear and tear and lots of other issues will appear in long term, as it's being pushed beyond its designed capacity.

That's the main reason to opt for T3 over T1 for our harsh climate, but it's indeed a general fact PW people are way too sensible and cannot make wrong decisions.

It rarely trips thermally, unless pushed too hard for a few hours. At 49C, it would just consume far more power than a T3 would and cooling would be not as robust as T3, which will be maintaining robust cooling at far less power consumption.

T3 Inverter for our climate will bring more savings, but still it's very hard to digest for many people.

T3 inverter is win-win, believe it or not.

Sorry bro, the logic which you have given does not justify your claim or assumption that a T3 will outperform a T1 type air compressor in hot weather.

Again, try to understand that it’s only the recommended operating range of compressors ( depending on ambient temperatures) differentiating them from each other as T1and T3, not the efficiency of the machines itself.

S15 is absolutely right. I can give you real life example of my personal experience. I had a 1.5 ton regular split installed on top floor that gets sun all day long. It used to run 24x7 consuming 8.5 amp and didnt even trip at night during may-aug. i replaced it with a 2 ton panasonic t3 inverter and now it consumes 3-4 amps during day and 2 amp at night during these 4 hot months.

Bro, like I had told earlier, 1.5 A/C installed was under capacity for the room. Now you have got 2 tons installed and it trips once it achieves the desired set point.

T3 has nothing to do here.

Where exactly is it written what compressor is being used in the inverter unit? I have not seen anywhere being mentioned T1, T2 or T3?

There is no new model for samsung this year. I have been seeing the same two models for last 2 years.

For ar18msf cavalary showroom asked 82K while in abid market asking is 80-85k, you can get it for 77-78k after some bargaining.
