Yes it is working absolutely fine but as it is inverter so have to understand what is requirment.
Incase if you are willing to have speedy cooling let the ac run on 16 with powerful mode for sometime in this way the ac will run on full throttle and will work like non Inverter. Of course it will consum more power to make the cooling more quickly.
Today was a very very hot day in Lahore and in my bed room i used a half blanket. Basically i do not feel comfortable at 27/28 so during such a extremely hot weather this unit had to work hard but it did a good job.
If you are using inverter for 27/28 temp it will sense itself that it doesn't need to work harder therefore it works bit slowly but once the temp is set much lower then it understands that it has a long way to go so it works faster.
During todays hottest weather i set the temp 16 with powerful mode and it went upto 10Amp for 7/8 minuts then it went down to 7.6 Amp within 12/13 minuts then stayed on 6.1 Amp for 60 minuts then room temp was very cool it went down to 3.5Amp within next 1 hour and it stayed for 2.3Amp for rest of time time.
During night i set the temp on 25 which is quite cool i believe and it goes down to as low as 1.3Amp on 5/6AM.
But it is a inverter with very good cooling but it should be used sensibly.
If you are willing for fastest cooling No one can beat Window Ac.
