has anybody used Kenwood eSleek 1830s model with 60% saving. I am confused between 1830s eSleek and 1835s Eeco Plus with 75% saving.

price difference between the two is 15000. is it worth spending this extra amount or esleek works fine with low energy consumption.

60% vs 75%

in 75% its all DC Motors while in 60% it will be ac motors + DC Stuff Mix.. Usually Its Inner Impeller and motors which are DC Too in 75% saving

Congrats for your purchase, I am fully satisfied earlier i was die heart fan of General Brand which never failed in any circumstances but its very hard to find General.

Once i went to Japan for 2 weeks while coming to Pakistan i bought a 1.5 Ton Window ac on which everything was written in Japanese, It was a beast and still running in my friends home where due to heat most ac dont work.

Still the Japanese are miles ahead in Chinese and i believe Panasonic basic meant was to cool rather than fancy show cased things.

Dont worry brother be patient get the ac installed by an expert with Vaccum and also install new pipes for new ac.

Let us know when you get it done with first review.

so ur vote is with 1835s. Next question is I am getting this model in 80k while Gree is available in 83k.
what should be the choice.

both are good ..look for specs and compressor type..

t3 compressor are leading point as they are built to sustain high temp and work in climate with scorching heat just like we are facing this year

Just washed the outdoor unit for the first time since beginning of last summer, when it was installed. I couldn't believe how much dirt came out. Will let it dry out for a couple of hours and then see if it helps with cooling or amps.

A sales guy told me that Dawlance Econo Plus has Energy Saver mode, which will allow me to run it in lower power consumption mode. Can anyone confirm that?

on paper yes, but what's the gurantee that these these chinese ACs really have what they brag about? How can they get 4.0 EER when other brands like LG, samsung, panasonic cannot achieve 4

Thats Why They Had 2 Models Saying 60% and 75% .

its better to look for compressor type (t1, t3) and build quality Of Condensor/Evap rather than EER .Its Just Gimmick

Yes it does have that mode, not only in Econo model but in others as well like the one i am using is Pro active series and it too has econo mode. When you turn it on the fan speed automatically becomes very slow and the display starts showing E than 0 than the temp that it is set on.

However i havent used that mode because AC gets very slow and i dont like the cooling than.

I have a suspect that how can "all dc" ac is good? Lets assume few things here. DC is required for variable current controlling for compressor which has clear pupose for DC current. In fan motor you need constant speed like low medium high. No any body want such a feature where one would select high and after few seconds fan speed reduce itself or fluctuates like compressor does. AC motors can do this work efficiently by using simple AC motor.

However its general rule that when we convert AC to DC energy lost in conversion.

Suppose to get 1CFM air flow through the AC, Air conditioner need 15 watt motor. In DC current same energy is required but we are adding loss of AC to DC conversion extra for DC motors.

I think we are just wasting energy in this process. Why not to choose the air conditioner which have AC fan motors which is directly coming from wapda and use it without any conversion?

Kenwood UK has only given its name to get royalties. This has been discussed in this topic many times. RnI are getting their ACs made from china, label it Kenwood and sell it here.

LOL no, stepper motor is a totally different thing. I suggest you read about it.
Secondly i do agree with your point that using a DC fan motor for indoor or even outdoor is unnecessary

Yes you are right. Sorry its not stepper motor. Stepper motor ia installed in revolving grill. Its async motor for fan motor. Thanks for your correction.
