I have Toshiba 1.5ton Inverter RAS-18N3KCV (2 Units) T3 Compressor, Copper Pipe, Thailand Assembled. (1yr Parts + 3 yr Compressor) warranty.
First One bought in 2015, At that time Inverter were newly introduced
This model has Compressor Speed mode ie 100% , 75% and 50%
When we bought first after Installation, my electrician showed me Initial starting AMPs went upto 10 and after and hour it dropped to 2.5-3.5 Amp,
Same Model purchased recently in Ramzan 2019 for my office.
That is when I came to know about Compressor Speed Function 100% , 75% , 50%
at 50% Consumption from start and stay around 2.5-3.5 amp
75% Consumption is 3.5-4.5
100% 5-7Amp (Default Mode)
At my office before Installation, my electricity bill used to be around 3-4k / month. After installation and more than one month of usage and timing from 12:00pm to 8pm , office bill came 6,900 .
I have only faced Gas Leakage issue on 1st Unit in 2018. After that no issue

Compressor Speed Function via Fan Speed, at 1 fan speed consumption was 1.5amp to 2.5 amp
One of best a/c in term of consumption
Very pathetic After Sales Service, My Hitachi A.c broke in Ramzan 2019, company technician visited after 1 week of lodging complain , took both unit circuit for repair and after re-fitting circuit, told me Gas Leakage issue , unit will be required to be taken to Service Center, after 1 week I called them to take unit at Service Center, no one came even after numerous phone calls uptil now,
Hitachi Above model was blessing for us in term of electricity saving and cooling as it was installed in my room , been using it for more than 12 hrs daily.

We have total of 4 of them at our house (1st 2unit Installed in 2018 Ramzan, Remaining 2 unit installed recently)
Gas Leakage problem occurred in one unit of 2018 unit, After Sale Service experience was very good, it was under warranty, Technician came next day of complain to diagnose, after 2 days Unit was taken for repair and after 3 days it was installed back and Gas was refilled infront of us. Charges 500 visit and 1,000 for transportation. If it was to be done privately 6,000 for gas 1,000 for repair and 500 for transportation.
Starting Amps goes till 7-8amp , after desired temperature cooling reach it consumption drop to 3.5-4amp, haven't noticed going below 3amp
Although Cooling of Mitsubishi is better than the Toshiba and Hitachi A/c I have.
