it's just a rebranded chinese product.

Original hyundai korea doesn't make anything like that.

Yes Hyundai ka hee HIS series solar compatible.
Non solar is HI series

Little update on my 1.5ton 60% savings model of Hisense AC.
So it was doing a perfect job in cooling the room and i was so far satisfied until now. I was in my room and AC was off and suddenly it started making some strange scratching noise. I thought that maybe it's either a bird from behind or some other creature so i turned it on which I shouldn't have had. As soon as I turned it on it made some 4-5 pops and i realized that it's a problem with the AC and there's no animal and quickly switched it off from the main switch. After few seconds there was strange smell, not of burning but really strange and strong smell in the room. I opened it up to check whether it's PCB or what but everything was cool to the touch. Sad to see that this one is the quickest AC to have problems (in 4 months) amongst all the other brands AC i have owned. I had high hopes from this brand but i think the thing is that all ACs manufactured/assembled here are the same
Have called the dealer and he said he'll quickly launch a complaint and Hisense technician will contact me soon.

No it's not gas leak
I being stupid once again just turned the switch on (not the ac) and this sparking/scratching noise started coming again from the indoor unit and as soon as i turned the switch off there was no noise
There's some sparking in the pcb or other electronic i believe

Send like the PCB is shot. Could have melted also if it smelled. You can check for yourself by removing top cover.

Right. By the way what started that in the first place. Probably a voltage surge that might have fried PCB while air conditioner was switched off from remote only.

I don't think there was any voltage surge. Even I thought that there might be voltage fluctuation and that was the first thing i checked after switching it off from the main switch but voltage was fine.
Furthermore if there was voltage surge, other appliances should have had been fried/damaged aswell, TV in the same room was on along with ps4 and another ac in the other room and some other appliances
Still waiting for the technician to come

inspect the plug of the AC and open its socket as well. where the ac connected to the mains.

this is only the pcb cover. you need to open it to check inside.
