Update:
As I lodged complain around 6pm and the Kenwood technician (to my surprise) hopped in @ 11am in the morning.
Checked the:
Outer & inner pipe joints, opened the top cover and put his hand in it while the AC was running (I asked him if I should have it turned off but he said it's fine) got shocked a few times (could be his fetish, who am I to judge
) said outer is fine.
Inner pipe joints, said they are fine too. Opened the inner and found a what he said is a very minute/minor leak on the left side of evaporator/u-band I think.
Said unit will be sent to service center, I said what will they do? He said they'll do what's best. I said what's your best exactly? He said probably a repair or u-band replacement, depends on their mood. I said:

Kher after much back & forth he said to have me write my request on this complaint report and hope for the best so I did.
Shortly after he left, I intimated Mr. Zubair (great guy) from Kenwood that I don't want to no repairs & a brand new spanking evaporator coil replacement is the only thing that'll get me peace of mind & a very good night's sleep. Shortly got a call from Kenwood guy, he was very polite as well and understanding and I asked him the same thing and he gave affirmation.
After a while Mr Zubair called me and said you have both options:
- Either go for repair (as its a minor leak) and if it gets leaked again you can have the evaporator coil replaced with new (until it's in warranty period)
- Go for evaporator coil replacement but you can only have the evaporator coil replaced only once in a warranty period, So if goes bad again you'll have to pay 18500 for new evaporator replacement.
Me being me, I opted for whole evaporator coil replacement as if I'd have gone for repair the unit will be needed to go to service center then god knows how many days it would have taken. While for whole evaporator replacement Zubair bhai said he'll send the guy with the new coil, he'll replace it at my place and voila! Work done. So I okayed him
After a few hours I get a call from Irfan from Kenwood, he starts the conversation with "Sir apka AC kal kab uthwaon" /// Like he didn't already know what conversation/deal I already had with Zubair bhai for evaporator replacement at my home. Kher Mr Irfan sahb kept on pressing and telling me home replacement not possible, he'll have to pick the inner & outer (to my surpirise) as well and he'll have to order the new evaporator coil from factory then it will come then it will be replaced then they'll do pressure testing servicing etc etc and then the unit will be sent back so it can take days.
Kher I got off the call disappointed, intimated Zubair bhai: the
about this call and after a while he assured me that that was just the technician and the reason to have the unit bring to service center was only to service it. But I explained him that its only been 4 months and its not that dusty I mean i'll have it serviced myself when it'll need so I'd really appreciate if we can have the coil replaced at home as we discussed earlier.
So then he said:

and promised me that tomorrow 21st July, 2022 before sunset I'll have the guy sent and get this work done 
It's 9am in the morning, will update later what happens today fingers crossed
