Did you compare the TCL T5 with competitors such as Haier Thunder and Pel Jumbo Prime T3 wifi while making your decision?

T5 has better eer, 3.6 vs 3.2
So anytime T5 if 1.5 ton required (I also have 1 ton t-pro from tcl lineup, T5 is 5dc, t3 pro is 3dc)

Haier had many complaints so didn't go for it.
I had used Pel but was unsatisfied with it's performance.
Gree didn't have a model with T3.
Kenwood 1838 e smart plus is expensive
Samsung and daikin were above 200K

The Gree guy is saying its a PCB issue and asking for warranty card even before coming (which I have lost) however I do have the dealer invoice. Previously Kenwood guy asked that if i don’t have the warranty card they will charge some amount but not sure with Gree. It is however in warranty according to the invoice..

What should I do? Will Gree offer warranty without warranty card?

I do think you'll need one but check with the tech that comes to fix your AC. Maybe they agree with the invoice but there's little chance

TCL 18T5 is awesome. 5 DC. Great chilling air throw which is 1150m3/hr. In comparison to my GREE CITH 1.5 TON, which has 850m3/hr and TCL T3 PRO 2 TON which has 1100 m3/hr.
Very nice app as well. Good consumption as well though I only rely on TCL app.
Just make sure you do the vacuuming during installation

Thank you for your feedback. Apparently TCL customer care isn't good but it's worth risking since the product is good.

Unfortunately my installer doesn't have vacuum capabilities otherwise he's pretty good. I wouldn't trust anyone else - worth risking?

I won't risk it because of excessive humidity these days. Inverters in Pakistan are already low quality and you're compromising the life of coils because of moisture in the line set.
Also, please ask you installer to bring a proper vacuum pump not a fridge compressor.

So the latest on 24 T3 pro TCL is that there indeed is a manufacturing problem, confirmed by TCL. They wrote to TCL Head office in CHINA To lodge a warranty claim, got approval from China and now have committed to deliver a brand new outdoor unit to be sent to my residence via TCS. Turn around time is 30 days, so waiting for the unit to arrive.

Higher air flow means faster cooling. I got TCL miracle T3B that has 1200 m3/hr air flow rate and it chills the room (13x14) in no time. Also its indoor is huge that increases the efficiency.

Having same issue with my Kenwood eSmart 1220, 3 years old.
Today kenwood team visited and said evaporator will be changed and it will cost 25k.
Not sure if I should go for this or just buy new AC?

I believe you can't buy ac in 25k,

If all other parts are perfect go with replacement of evap - much better option than a new AC

Can you share if T3 really makes a huge difference?
They’re much more expensive now than non T3 models.

Considering:
Gree Fairy T3
TCL T3 or T5 (is T5 much better than T3Pro?)
Haier Thunder
Pel Jumbo Prime

These are T3 models I think.

Which one should be bought in 1.5 ton? Does any specific model have much more positives than other.

Or should one go for non T3 cheaper

Gree Fairy is T3? I have Gree Fairy wifi the one with bigger outdoor. How to check if it is T3 or not because I always considered it as non T3.
