Some more trout....
Another fact about trout for general knowledge; trout with red or orange/golden dots are those which live in shallow water while the ones with dark blackish dots are caught from deep waters (though difference is not much clear in pics but it is very much evident when you see them in real).
Qayyum sb: the target killer of trout . Water is icy cold but see the strength of retired fauji;
Water springing from the stones
This tree is a great blessing for the local people... It is very oily, you just need to show fire & it catches fire like it is soaked in kerosene oil. A great blessing for harsh winter of this area which occupies 8 out of 12 months. Its skin is also used to oil the tawa for making khush parathas
A scenery of Langher itself... Will soon post detailed pics of Langher taken on day-2 trekking
End of day 1 trekking & fishing with a nice cup of tea

Sure Raheel bhai, choose one of the two remaining & that will be yours (3rd one I am already using)
I don't think it is birch tree.... Will confirm its local name from my team mate & update it here. This tree is found only on the West i.e Ghizar side of Gilgit & not in Hunza side. I remember people using its skin to oil the tawa.
Thanks Asif bhai
Thanks Imran bhai.. I will conclude this thread today Inshallah by posting pics of Langher & then the most beautiful lake i.e Phandar lake etc
So true brother... After this series of trips, I'm thoroughly convinced that Pakistan is indeed, as Qaid(R.A) said; "the MOST beautiful land of the Earth". Inshallah Golden days of Pakistan will return soon & forever
