Islamabad to Langhar | Exploring the North Pole, Part-1

Ahhhh....reminded me of my trip to baha in 2011. however, I went in the month of July. Took me 5 hours to reach the lake. it was a wise decision that you didn't went to the lake coz the strenuous part of the trek lies near to the lake where one needs to climb at least 3 ascends to reach at the start of the lake. However, the hike is worth the effort. This time around the water is more clearer and fish more abundant..But some of the fish are juveniles and should have been released. And lastly, the tree under discussion is in fact birch tree or bhoj pattar (as called in urdu if i'm recalling it correctly)

FYI. the kukush is a series of 3 lakes, ppl normally go to the 1st one ,which is also the biggest one , however, there are 2 more further upstream to the first lake. The route to 2nd lake is from the left bank side of 1st lake, but please note that the route is quite dangerous due to landslides once you cross the stream (which is also the only source of fresh water on this side of the lake). Till date I have only seen pics of 2nd lake, and in my little knowledge no one has reached the 3rd lake.

On 2nd day, I decided to trek all alone on the small Rockies in Langher shown in the below pic. These small looking hills were actually were tiring & difficult to climb than I actually expected. Started from the bottom of the left most side & climbed & reached till the water on the right most side. There attacked by group of horses :P.... Yes the horses attacked me because they are not familiar with human presence & I was alone too, so came back after 1.5hr trekking:
