Goodbye Langhar
A shot of Barswat Valley on the way back:
And now the Beautiful BEAUTIFUL.............. The Phandar Lake.... One of the most lovely places I have ever been to:
This lake is actually much more beautiful than is being seen in pics. The colour of water is amazingly blue & it changes shades as you move; sometimes it looks greenish & sometime blueish... What a place it is
It is also said that it is extremely deep & the source of water is unknown because there is no spring or nullah feeding it, the Ghizar river which is passing from the left most corner in the pic is actually much lower than the lake's water level...
Also it is said that the ferozi colour of lake water is due to these stones which are in abundance in this area & hence in the lake too. Found this on the shore of the lake:
Water of this lake was very very tasty... Without exaggeration I am telling you that "paani pee pee kr bhi dil nhii bhar raha tha"
Some last shots of lake:
Leaving Phandar for gilgit.... Saw this Nullah... Can you figure out from where the water is coming & where it is going??? From nowhere to nowhere... Infact that is true
See the skills of our driver, Mr. Rajab
Water of this spring is very good for health & that's why this place is always crowded with people. You have to wait for your turn. The place is "Haim" & is just before Ghizar (probably 4-5 Km). It is said that the water is good for certain diseases also:
And this is End of "Islamabad to Langhar | Exploring the North Pole Part-1" from my side.... Hope you have liked it, see you soon in Part-2
