JDM Time - Passo 2010-13

Dr. Usman Sb, salam, a bit of advice needed, passo 2014, imp in nov 15, 1484 km on odo in jp auction sheet, verified, after 3 days of drvng here n there i hv 1800 km on the odo now...when to change its oil, ive bought liquimoly 5w30 (special-tec, grey bottle 4200pkr)with gnn toyota filter, .... some say change now, dome say change at 3000km, manual says change at 15000km... filter i got is of emement type 04152-YZZA6 (700pkr). Ok or not.? .... ....
prob#2, its draining battery, i chked alternator is good, and two battery ppl confirmed that 3 cells of battery are down, 1 cell cmpletely dead... i want to chane battery too, shud i go for sealed or flooded, of which co.

Yes Dry Battery is better, change your car's battery...

Oil change after 5000 km... As the car is new, some wear and tear of new engine takes place... So change it at 5k with LM which u have bought....

Battery 35AH enough?, (as it has auto start n stop feature, so frequently cranks at chowk wagera), or should i go for 50AH or so ??

today I am having a strange problem when i press the unlock button on the door handle with remote key in my pocket it did noting but the door were opened. there were security lock icon poping on the screen I can feel the brake pedal become harder and the push key get struck and not rotating. I have also changed the remote cell but the problem is still there.

Please help me to resolve this problem.

check the bottled date of oil if its recent then u can keep it over a year otherwise sell it to some one who needs it urgently:) as far as i know different oil products have different shelf life max life is 5 years so check the bottom of your oil bottle for bottled date.

as far as JP battery is concern sorry no idea about them my brother recommended me Hankook or solite so went with solite as i read good reviews about it on the internet. and so far satisfied cranking up the car in less than a half self in early cold morning

i went for the same specs as was of original battery from japan

you can go for the specs u have from japan. if u need extra power like for amplifier, pressure horn extra HID lights etc then u can go for larger capacity.

Brother your steering is locked... Press brake pedal, one hand on push start, other hand on steering, try to move steering it will be unlocked and push start will start the car...

[I]Dear Asif ! I would suggest that you should change the engine oil due to following reasons:

[/I]1. New engine parts have protective layer of fine grease / different type of lube oil, for protecting them from rust etc. and for their longer shelf life. When new engine starts running this layer melts and get mix in engine oil. Thats why most car manufacturers recommend FIRST OIL CHANGE after 1000 KM.
2. We dont know first owner of your car (Japani) has done it or not. Your car is only 1800 KM driven till now.
3. Lube oils always have their shelf lives ranging from 6 months to 02 years. Don`t keep your purchased oil for much longer period.

This is only suggestion, decision will be yours.
