Recently returned from Isb-Lake Saiful Malook-Shogran-Sri,Paya-Isb tour, its a 2nights and 3day tour on Mehran-11 with wife and a kid. Some quick memories for reference for the future prospeted future PW travelers.
Any vehicle can reach up to Naran easily, there are few patches of bad road after Kaghan till Naran, but any vehicle can pass through.
This area is flooded with tourists, and principle of demand-and-supply apply correctly here. Every thing seems little to moderate overpriced.
While going to Naran we had a lunch at Arcadiant, Its located somewhere close to Kaghan and we had best food there during this tour.
We stayed at Shelton Inn hotel in Naran, its located on Jheel Rd, and its the last hotel on Jheel Rd while going to Lake. Room rent was Rs. 3000/- Per night. Jeep rent we paid was 2200/-
On this particular day upon arriving Naran, we headed to PTDC, since no room or hut was available there, the local receptionist suggested us to search room on Jheel Rd as its getting dark, and after dusk its become more difficult to find a room, Next stop was Pine park, and no room available there too, Next there is another hotel, i dont remember its name (may be Sayyam Heights), and there rooms were available. Room rent he was asking from 7500/- standard to 11500/- Executive. I keep on moving and reached Shelton. Though road is tough for Mehran. There a shelter cabin was available, and he asked 3000/-, rent seems reasonable so I did'nt bargain.

Next morning visited Lake, stayed there for two hours. Took two horses(Khacchar) for 600/- and took a round of Lake.

Had Lunch at Naran and Left for Shogran, Managed to find a room there at 3500/- at Green Land Hotel.
Next Morning visited Siri Paya, stayed there for 1.5 hrs, which seems to be less, at least 2.5 hrs are required there to trek around.
Noticed abundance of Butterflies at Paya which seems to be absent even at Shogran, Kaghan and Naran.
Returned Shogran, and Reached Isb via Abbotabad.
