You can see the holes for the vents in the first picture of post 15. They are plastic assemblies with a rubber curtain facing downwards, the work anytime any door is closed and ensure fresh air is circulated anytime the car moves forward.

Ok this is the right side of the body, the hole here is blocked, my question is are there 2 holes for 2 vents or just the 1?

Well got a new bonnet, rear bumper and and left metallic fender shield. All of them Taiwanese.

The bonnet's price is Rs 5700/-
The Shield's price is Rs 3200/-
The rear bumper's price is Rs 1650/-

I want to install swift's front grill instead of khyber's because I don't like the cut in khyber's grill.
Is there any place I can get the swift's brand new grill? Or do I have to find a kaabli? And how much would the grill cost? Khyber's grill i think the Taiwanese one was Rs 900/-

There are two vents, but later khybers may only have 1 (suzuki cheaped out as the years went by) - the jap swifts had both. Look for original plastic fender shields for your car, and apply some generous body wax to the inner side of the fender you just installed.

You would most probably need to make your own body wax - and also get some undercoat spray and work with it at this time when the bumpers etc are not in place. Be double sure to clean out the wiper tray - it gets plugged with dirt and can cause serious rusting issues.

Why would a brand new fender need a body wax? Similarly what's the purpose of the undercoat spray? Not arguing here I just don't know why and want to know.

By cleaning the wiper tray what exactly do you mean? Raigmaar use kerna hai?

the purpose of the body wax is to preserve the fender - as moisture condenses from the inside rusting it out, The wax makes the condensed moisture (water) or any water just slide off the metal.

The undercoat is rubber based is only applied to directly exposed sheetmetal under the car, the fender is not exposed - it gets closed off by the plastic shield, but still moisture can condense there. All new cars have that body wax coating. Its the really stiff yellowish film that you find inside doors etc.

Paint work on the car has finally started, a little delay because of rain.

Any tips about the paint? I mean kis cheez ka khayal rakhna chahiyae, paint kon si brand ka hona chahiyae? How to ensure k paint acha ho raha hai and shine will be good etc.

Ok this is from typeracer's thread but well in holes k ander rusting hui wi hai uss ki kia solution hai, my denter didn't really satisfied me there..........

clean it out with some acid then some caustic soda, then ask your painter to make a pipe nozzle and spray primer and thick paint coats inside. When done a good load of body wax is sprayed inside those cavities.

btw - remove the wiring harness and refinish it from end to end.

good work keep going and make most out of each penny spent. your khyber reminded me of a friends 90 khyber it was painted by previous owner and guess what after some time everything stated breaking off from the car as the prev owner didnot cure rust just puted poutine(thick white material applied before paint) and painted it car got serious mechanical issues as the strut tower loses its strength and in the end he sold it for peanuts.
well im also thinking to get some body work done on my charade it needs 1 door complete denting/painting and some other small dents needs touching and also paint over roof and hood as the paint faded. i was wondering how much it would cost as im also unaware of denting/painting work, never experienced any thing like that before.

Thnx man, yeah will try to deal with rusting as much as I can. As for the denting painting of your car I'll ask my denter about the price.

Guys what's ur opinion about the detail of denting in the pics below are the joints fine or is there room for improvement?

One more thing. I like khyber's original 12" wheel cups. My question is do they come in 13" or not? If not can anyone share with me good 13" wheel cups that might look good on a khyber. If you could share pics that would be great.

Rims are kind of expensive and I plan to install new suspension before the rims. So right now more interested in wheel cups.
