@nfsmostwanted yeah I think it would be difficult I've never seen these side mirrors here. Though on the teamswift website almost every MK1 has these side mirrors. Guess I'll try ebay.

As for the quality of denting work check out the pic.

The gap between the door and the back panel is way too much and further more its not even and at the bottom in that yellow circle it doesn't fits nicely and from a certain angle looks cheap and fugly. Furthermore the underpaint is not of the highest quality either.

Still need to take those interior pics. Didn't get the time yesterday. Would share some more issues as well. For now that's the only one I have. Highlighting these issues for newbies for going for denting and painting.

Yes bro i can see the gap but it doesnt look that bad either. as the overall look of the car is there to cover up this minor thing

@Xulfiqar bhai can you pls answer some queries on page 4 of this thread. Kisi nay lift hi nai kerai and since my plan is to go ahead with the swap next month so really do need that info. Need your suggestions regarding those queries. Waiting anxiously for your input.

MashaAllah bro your Khyber looks much better now and the color really suit the car. I have a query regarding my Khyber; there is a lot of rust in the wiper tray/drain area which needs attention. Did you access this area when you got the car painted? @xulfiqar if you could please shed some light on this......

Visited the mechanic last night. Seems like a good guy. According to him I am gonna need a budget of around 80k. This includes the engine which would roughly be around 65k. Rest is labor. This also includes exhaust work. I think 15-20k for labor is reasonable. What do you guys think? He says will need about 1-1.5 weeks to complete the swap. Says the alteration work shouldn't be rushed and wants to make sure everything is in perfect order before he hands over the car. And could anyone pls answer those queries on page 4 regarding G15A!

Thank you @DUDE007. Well I am not sure actually, I think when they took off the dashboard they worked a little on the backwall. Ander say I don't think they did anything.

G15 will fit but will require a bit trimming of the front cross brace - just like when fitting a G13B - GTi engine.

The rest- all will work. Make sure you get your engine installer to make you a cross bar for under the car to tighten up the front. GTi had those.

Maybe some one makes custom strut bars, infact I am pretty sure they do. I've seen many people get custom tow bars.
