Well would get screw things fixed, actually I didn't knew it could be done without the screws I was thinking of getting the screws painted

Well it would be better to get them painted because now if you will get it fitted the proper way you'll have to cover the holes made by the screws.

Well suspension is *****, that's the next "big" thing on the list. Well about 8 years back it was the only car we owned so had to use spacers. I did get the back ones removed, I think the front shocks still have those spacers not sure will get that checked now.

If there are spacers at the front then get them removed because the car seems more lifted than normal at front.

There are small things on my mind I need to get done for instance, in the first pic check the car's left side mirror it has a hole in it and the one on the right is chipped from the edges.

So they are the first thing on my agenda. I asked for the original ones from sultan ka khu turns out they would cost me around Rs 3000/-, the Tiawanese one are not available, waseem autos said they'll have them within the week. But some one told me that in pindi near shaaz cinema there is a shop that sells the original ones with the mirrors changed and they cost from around 400-500, I plan to check them out.

If going for repairs then make sure that you are getting good quality auto mirrors fitted, not the cheap bathroom mirror.
Khybers original side mirrors are difficult to find.
You may get the RHS one easily but finding the original LHS would be challenging.
I was unable to find it so got the taiwan one for my car.
It is of good quality, close to the OEM one.

Then in the third pic see the black patti on the back door its kind of shrinked am hoping to replace that as well. After that the tail lights. As for the front grill will get that sorted out next time I visit the denter.

Well if I were you then I would have removed the side mouldings or replaced them with the ones that came in later models, but since its your car so you are at full liberty to do whatever you want.

What are your opinions about the suzuki hologram for the back and a khyber one for the front grill? I would like to get those.

If I were you then I would have got a Suzuki one for the front grill.
The one comes in Mehran, will look good.
If you want the Khyber one then it will look good too, I got the Khyber one for my car.
But please get the OEM ones, not the cheap chrome ones.
They are easily available from Sultan-ka-khu & Saddar.
The silver paint on them is of pathetic quality so remember to do a spray of clear coat on them before putting them on your car, or else they go all black very soon.
BTW This was the Suzuki sticker that I was talking about. (For the front grill)

like evry khyber lover, i was also searchng for the rite piece of side glass which dnt make me compromise on beauty of this car, i had ride side orignal but left one was only to show dat i have a side glass :P.
made me waited long but finally i got them
perfectly fit like orignal ones, no need to alter any thing.
also have blue led light wid parking , n flashing yellow wid indiactors.
got them frm sadr khi.
u can add like i did in my khyber...

Although I was not exactly innocent in all this scenario, was driving a little recklessly but mind you a little
Anyways we were in the fast lane the bike had to take a u-turn came from the left most lane without any regard of who might be coming from behind and bam the hiace in front of me brakes hard and since I am not that far behind I go right into the metal bumper, nothing happened to the hiace and motorcycle walay bhai didn't even knew what he had caused. I was left fuming on myself and the biker.

I think the denter did an Ok job. I miss my swift grill. Had to go for the khyber grill this time wasn't in the mood of scavenging "sultan ka khu" for the swift grill besides was a little tight on money. So that would've been slightly out of range.

Btw got original khyber's side mirrors as well. One of the mirror however didn't had the original glass, so got it changed with the original mirror of another car.

Got some silencer work done last night. The dholki wasn't changed but apart from that the piping and the small dholki couldn't bear anymor repairs and had to be changed. This is the condition they were in prior to replacement.

Well according to the owner, he gave me kabli piping and choti dholki of cultus 07/08. Daikhnay mei tau it did look better and was heavier. But since mera silencer works mei experience itna zayda nai so I am not sure if it was indeed an OEM product. If anyone with a keen eye could verify I would really appreciate it. The choti dholki Rs 1200/- ki thi and the piping with that dabba in between was Rs 3200/- The total money I paid for fitting and everything was Rs 4200/- There was this local setup as well the choti dholki and the piping would've costed me rs 3200/- and had 10 months warranty.

Choti dholki Rs 750/- ki thi and was this one. I think I made the right choice in not selecting this one

And yeah I forgot to mention he gave me 3 years guarantee, keh raha tha agar kuch b masla ho jaye will replace it free of cost, he keeps record of his sales that I am sure of.

Kiyun k mei iss banday say kafi arsay say silencer ka kaam kera raha hoon that's why I've never really gone to other shops and therefore prices ka sahi idea nai hai. I hope that he gave me the OEM product and charged me fair.

you should also do something to rust proof your car's under carriage as there is some rust on the floor boards

What do you recommend? I don't know anything about rust proofing the underside of the car. What will be the cost? Or is it just some type of waxing that any denter can do ? Would appreciate any info that you can give.

For the floorboards you can sand the floor boards , after cleaning it throughly with a rust remover you can spray a good under coat paint or rust proofing paint

what you did was just cover up the rust, what you needed was to treat the rust first to stop it from spreading then coating with rubberised undercoat.

Next up G15A

Its been a while but this has been on my list since I saw Rozz's G15A. One of the reason I made the pakwheels account was to ask Rozz about G15A, some info about its swap, cost etc. Well Finally I am in a position to go for the swap. Very happy about it.

P.S: This won't be a racing car. Focus will be on economy.

This post might be a little premature, I expect to go ahead with the swap by the end of this month hopefully. Just thought I'd start it now get the feedback and gather info as to what should be taken care of. This will be my 1st swap. Well our civic's engine was swapped but I had nothing to do with it, car went to the mechanic and car came back, I just went with him to the market selected the engine and thats it, so doesn't really counts as swap right?

Few things that I'd like your opinions about are:

1) Speedometer: Can I get any speedometer installed? Or is there just a limited choice to choose from depending on the feasibility of the fit? I am inclined towards Liana's meter, if by any chance civic eagle eye's meter could be installed I'd love to hear about that. What about the RPM would they give any accurate reading or will it just be for show. Don't want to go for custom made meters.

2) Suspension: Right now have no idea whether I am required to change the shocks or not. I do know springs will have to be changed, to lower the height. Right now don't have the budget to go for coilovers so it'll be smaller springs for now. Also should I go for coilovers or lowering springs is a better option? Can my current shocks work or will I have to change them too for using with coilovers or new lowering springs?

3) Exhaust system: What needs to be done?

4) Brakes: Rozz said on some thread that he didn't upgrade the brakes. Said that khyber's brakes are actually pretty good and he only did something minor with the brakes to improve them. What was the minor thing he did I couldn't find out.

5) ECU: What should I know about the ECU? It'll come with the engine, how to make sure its fine. Anything about issues related to ECU wiring that I should keep in mind.

6) AC: Can I easily fit CNG and AC with the big engine under the hood? Unfortunately car will be a daily runner so have to have CNG. MY daily travelling is ~90km. So petrol is not an option.

7) Tires/Rims: Currently I am using 13" rims. For now the budget doesn't allow me to change the rims. So can I work with this size for the time being?

Atm can't think of anything else, if there is anything else that I should be careful about do pls share it with me.

The car has had some very minor changes, will share the pics with you when I get home and I just realized I never posted any interior pics so those will come as well. (it sucks btw so don't get your hopes up )

Thank you for your appreciation bro. The work done wasn't exactly outclass there were some issues I'll try to highlight those when I post the pics.
