A little more insight here please. How do I ensure this bracing, what steps are required for this bracing?
Went to another denter to get a quote and he seemed better than the other 2 in his approach at least (properly checked the car from every angle, seemed like he made an appropriate assessment of the work required before giving a quote).
I've got a quote of 110K for complete bodywork of the car, parts included. For now I am inclined to go ahead with this guy. He says that he will sort out all the rust. I've had a detailed discussion on how he will treat the undercarriage, though I need more clarity on some of the things, if I do decide to go ahead with him, I'll finalize the way forward before moving forward. As per the discussion that I've had for now, following will be replaced:
- Floors (19 gauge)
- Footpaths
- Gadri (Both interior and exterior)
- Chasis (Front)
He said the flooring in khyber came with 22 gauge.
After having the discussion regarding the undercarriage I told him that I want the whole car done. For the under carriage the quote was 50k (with parts). For the whole car it came out to be 110k.
Before giving the quote for the all the body work he checked the car from inside as well, sadly some more rusting was found
