If you see the picture of the head, you will see filling work done using magic depoxy. This kind of repair work is always temporary, and I agree with @babarhyd as in case of using thermostat valve, the engine will reach higher temperatures as compared to current always on mode of the fan. This will increase the chances of the depoxy coming off from the engine.

Probem is, as per specs it should be good with t-valve and auto fans. But the job done isn't satisfactory. I also asked to use 20W50 only because if something goes wrong u can grab mechanics neck k yeh kaisa kaam kiya hai.
If you are to follow the actual specifications than this engine won't last 6 months. But miracles do happen, cracked block car running strong even after 3 years... So yes anything is possible, at the end it all depends on luck .

Thanks...Got it...fan is auto now without t-valve...so let it be auto ? Or i shall switch fan into direct?

And is there any permanent solution for cracked head cylinder? I don’t think so it will be available new?..

source from scrapyard Suzuki used same engine for Carry (dabba) / Pickup (ravi) upto 1995

@babarhyd chief look at the depoxy repair these are water jackets orifice not any fracture to integrity. the warp if any has been faced nicely after depoxy job

no fracture expanded to valve / combustion chamber you made me look at it under surgical precision with 200% expanded view

with a thermostat valve, coolant auto fans with 30 grade oil this engine can churn out 80,000 km again with reasonable oil change interval at 5000 kms or more

blank head part no has the same part no be it F(X) or G10
please check and correct me so i can correct the post.

soon after when 2 stroke engines were banned and suzuki switched to 4 cycle engine in all 4 wheel vehicles of under 1000 cc

since it has been assembled and engine is working. only add thermostat valve test the engine fans automatic working on & off then add coolant in the system. Oil grade change shall be your choice.

Yes. It seems so. But than again the amount of damage inside these orifices cannot be observed. My guess is keep it running till its fine, than change the head cylinder once this one blows off.

a khyber engine general overhaul with oem parts costs appox Rs. 50,000 with machining and labor charge. coolant, engine oil oil filter & fuel filter are extra.

Sorry for late reply...car is running perfect..thermostat valve installed fan is auto..changing engine oil after 5000km..using caltex havoline 10w-40 oil..giving me 13 and 14 km/litre average no matter long or short or intracity..minimum 13 is it gives me and max upto 14-15...
I had bought a toyota corolla 2.0D genuine diesel in meanwhile so khyber was parked for sometime..i then sold that corolla now using khyber again...btw diesel with 2C engine was giving me 18-24 average with Ac...
