Driver so far 500 Km.. Here is brief feedback. Since I had Honda Civic for last 10 years or so (all 04 generations). I will be comparing my drive experience accordingly. Eagle shape to reborn to rebirth to civic x.
1- COMFORT - I switched to Altis 1.8 twice (2009 and then 2015) from Civic, but was never comfortable with the drive experience I had as compared to civic so always switched back. I have done 1000 KMs on Sportage in day and I felt it had drive experience and comfort of Grande. But as compared to Civic it was 7/10. However Sorento is 9.5/10 as compared to Civic with respect to comfort, controls, drive experience, feeling that you have total control of your car while at same time getting big SUV feel. I am extremely satisfied with that. Cabin noise is even less than civic. Way way less than Grande and sportage.
2- Power - The Power is not as good as civic, it is like 9/10. I am also not pushing it too much for now as its in engine break in period and i want to be careful for first 1000 KMs. However still i feel the difference
3- Suspension - Excellent, nothing more can be expected. It is deserves maximum marks. I am comparing it with civic, Grande and Fortuner.
4- Fuel average - It js giving be 6-8 Kms in city with AC and i drive mostly from cantt to gulberg. I hope that it would improve after 1st service at 1000 kms
5- Brakes - I am satisfied. Same as Civic. Don't expect any better.
Above experience is while driving within Lahore city. Shall travel on highway once done woth 1000 km service.
